ZirManiac Posted January 16, 2011 Posted January 16, 2011 I'm sure this is in the wrong section (I'm horrid with forums) but I keep hearing about de-wicking and I would love to know how to do it! If this needs to be relocated, just let me know. Thanks!
BEERCITYVAPRZ Posted January 16, 2011 Posted January 16, 2011 Is there a vid on how to remove burnt threads from your atty, sometimes peeps forget to remove them right away before dripping and using them, I have a few newer lr's that are tasting nasty hopefully getting the threads out will help taste, thanx 4 posting this info.
ZirManiac Posted January 16, 2011 Author Posted January 16, 2011 Really appreciate the quick response! Super helpful! I'll probably wind up doing it when I get home. lol
kitsune Posted January 16, 2011 Posted January 16, 2011 It really does help !!! The wick is designed to help the liquid wick from the cart, but honestly I haven't noticed a difference with or without the wick. Now I go wickless and drip. It really is pretty easy to do.
Stirfry Posted January 17, 2011 Posted January 17, 2011 the first thing i do with new atties is remove the wicks. it takes WAY longer to explain it than to do it. even if the whole wick (all the strands) doesn't come out at all at once, it is still a 1 minute job.
drummingchef Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 what about the ego tank atty? can you take out the wick on those?
