jazzer4
Hi all. I'm old and from Texas, so please bare with me. I'm only on one other forum and that's for sleep apnea. That forum is much easier to work than this one. Yesterday I got my Joye eGo. I put it in the computer to charge for 8 hours like the instructions said. Brought up the video and put it all together. Nothing. No smoke. But it did make some noise. I don't want to break the darn thing. What now? thanks Susan
Jeffb
Hi Susan, Welcome to the forum. Did you put juice in the cartridge that came with it?
Uma
Welcome to VT and congrats on your new eGo!! That's a great pv. The eGo's come in a variety of choices these days, ... which kit did you purchase? (carts, cartos, reg, XL, etc). If it's the original kit, it came with cartridges. They are called carts for short. When you opened your box there was what appeared to be a fully assembled eGo ready to puff. It's not ready. You'll need to remove the mouthpiece (cart) and open one of the new prefilled carts that came with your pkg. (5-10 depending on kit). Put that in and now you can puff away until the flavor or vapor subsides. Top off with eLiquid at least once an hour probably, depending on how much you vape and how well the wick wicks. Hope this helps. If not, just disregard. kitsune
kitsune
Did you get any extra liquid?? or just the prefilled carts?? Like Uma Posted--Make sure you have put on one of the prefilled carts. The cart that is on the atomizer is blank--no filler, no liquid. You can try adding a couple drops of liquid directly to the atomizer to get things started. My preference is direct dripping....My link.
brijmin
Welcome to Vapor Talk. Along with the advice from above please make sure you check the following. 1. Atty is screwed on the battery all the way. 2. The Cartage looks moist. Should look like a slurpee. 3. Add a drop of juice to the bridge of the atty to prime the atty. 4. Take a primer puff, to warm the atty. 5. Take a long slow inhale/draw. The draw on a E-Cig is not the same as a analog. MistressNomad has some really good how to videos on YouTube. Please let us know if our suggestions help resolve the issue or if you need further input.
VaporiXEN
The Riva/eGo kits I have bought for friends all came with blank cartridges. Sounds like you have a good device, all you need now is juice.

I took it out and put in one of the 5 that comes with it. When that didn't work, I put in Juice. Still nothing. It must have something to do with the charging of the battery. I'll just take a chance and try to charge it again, but just not sure if I need to do it for the original 8 hrs., or for one hour. Good thing this kit has two of everything in it.
