Hi, my name is Carol. I found out about ecigs from a girl at the convenience store a couple weeks ago. We were talking about how really ridiculously expensive regular cigarettes are. And the cost of them is almost all tax. It just makes me mad. Anyhow, she said she had a friend that was going to get an electronic cigarette. It sounded interesting so I went on line and found a place that sold them. What I got is the Mini. I was completely clueless about how to work them. The first thing I did was put the battery in the charger upside down for 8 hours. Then I emailed them and told them I must not have an atomizer because when I screwed the top off all that was left was the battery.

Oh my.......I have since been able to charge them from the correct end and have found out that if you pull on the mouth piece you find the atomizer lol. But, one thing I haven't figured out yet is....I pull the mouth piece off the atomizer and put a couple drops of e liquid in the mouth piece. I that the same as dripping.

Ha ha welcome Noobie!! I was the same way when I first started, I'm glad you found us because we can help you through the whole process.

You have 3 parts to the ecig, which you probably already now know. The bottom which is the batter, the atomizer which is the middle and is all silver (with a little coil inside) and the cartridge on top.

Yes putting drips inside is called "dripping" or dry smoking depending on who you talk to. If you want to "drip" here's what ya do

1. With the whole ecig put together, take off the orange top (sometimes it's black) you can now see the steel atomizer

2. Drop 2 drips (and no more) INSIDE the atomiser, try to hit the little silver coil that's shaped like a horse shoe.

3. Pop the cart/cap back on

4. Take a draw just like a real cigarette. Only this time take a slow easy drag, rather than a fast hard hit like an analog. (Analog is slang for cigarette in the ecig world)

There is really no "inside" to the atomizer. it is just a coil sitting on metal. What I have been doing is dripping inside the mouthpiece into the cartridge.

I don't use any other cartridges than the one I have on my cig. I have been dripping into the same cartridge since I got it. Will it become a problem if I don't change the cartridge and just drip into the same one?

If you use carts alot they will get dirty I just pull out the cotton like stuff in the cart and wash it with water then dry real good fill up the empty cart half way with liquid and restuff cart stuffing and top off with a couple drops. Hope this helps if not I can post some pics of what I mean.

Or you could always do what I do, take the orange cart off and look inside, there is a white holder with cotton inside. If you take a paper clip or something similar you can actually pop that holder out. Which will leave you with a "blank cart." That way all you have to do is drop liquid onto the atomizer and not worry about the cart. That's what I've been doing now for about 16 weeks or so. Some models don't have a holder that can be removed, if that's the case with yours, just pull out the cotton, there really isn't much need for it IMO when you drip.

The problem with dripping into the mouth piece is sometimes you'll miss hitting it dead on, so you'll end up getting liquid in your mouth, which of course we all know isn't tasty at all.
