Good Morning,

It's awesome that the FDA got shot down, but I'm wondering if we will have to give up flavored juices in the USA? Current tobacco law states that regular cigarettes cannot have flavors attached to them. Do you folks think this would apply to eliquids?

Good question. It may go that way. But the good thing is flavorings will always be around. I believe there may be a lot more DIY juicers popping up. :)

It seems like DIY is part of the overall experience. That will definitely be my next step after getting a feel for refilling, dripping, etc.

Welcome to Vapor Talk. Good to have you with us.

Don't know about the flavored e-liquids. Since they will be under the tobacco ruling I don't see how they can say anything since they have flavored cigars, and snuff out there.

But I'm sure they're gonna try something. That's where the Diy will come in handy.

Good luck and happy vaping.

There is the potential for this but right now it's up in the air. I know personally I'm still going over the laws trying to figure out left from right. Once I'm a little more up to speed I'll be better able to get an opinion :)

It's easy enough to just add some flavoring to pre-made nic liquid. A person wouldn't have to get into DIY all that much if they didn't want to. Just add flavoring to whatever liquid you can get.

I believe that it shouldn't be an issue in theory tobacco is a flavour added to an e-liquid so in my thought process the only flavour should be flavourless (if they attack the liquid) which wont be hard to diy with anyway.

I'm still trying to figure out why cigarettes can't be flavored, but cigars and blunts can. Either way, its going to be hard to regulate e-juice not to be flavored, I mean, can they restrict the DIY'ers from adding a few drops of flavoring? Is it just going to be on the retail level? Only time will tell.
