kitsune
All During High school we used to go the the Rocky Horror Picture show at least a couple times a month. Balboa (Newport, CA)--used to be a great party place every friday night. I was finally able to initiate both of my children to the twisted world of cult movies Last friday. Found a theater in Denver that plays Rocky Horror once a month. 20 years later, It was still a blast !!!! (some tequila was involved)..... The kids (19 & 21) had a great time. There is just something about a transvestite from another planet.... Vaped through the whole movie !!! Nothing like reliving your teenage years..... mastiffmom
I love it! Aren't they fun as adults? You can relax a bit and enjoy who they've become.
Phaseman66
Same here, We had both Rocky Horror Picture Show AND Pink Floyd The Wall as midnight movies for a long while. (two different theatres) In the Summer, the drive in theatre was open. SIGH. Oh the nostalgia! What a great escape they were from the rigors of High School! Don't dream it. Be it. Thanks for the kick *** flashback!
Jeffb
Wow this brings back memories. We used to go to the 12AM showing at an old 1 screen theater in downtown Covina. Lets do the time warp again.
