shambondow
What does it mean when you puff an e-cig and it is harsh and tastes burnt? Joye eGo, used with atomizers/cartridges and cartomizers. It seems to have the burnt taste with cartimizers more. Thank you.
snubber
Sounds like you're letting them get too dry before you refill. Atty's and Cartos need to stay wet or you'll get a dry burnt taste.
Jeffb
I hate that burnt taste. Sometimes its so harsh it burns my throat. Snubber is correct it usually happens when there isn't enough juice in the atty/carto.
Christopher
It's almost always because not enough liquid is being added or your letting the cartomizer get to hot These videos might help http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CeaqRV4PmzA&feature=player_embedded http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h14QDp4v3O4&feature=player_embedded
Jolly
many of us remove the wicking under the bridge of the atty. if you look inside you will see a A shapped piece inside, there should be what looks like a string sticking out either side. take tweezers and pull it out of there. make sure to leave the bridge in there though or you will get a lot of juice coming out the bottom. this will remove the burnt taste. you still want to keep it juiced up and not dry vape it. Purevapor
I don't like taking the wick out, it made my atty leak like crazy when I did. As long as it's wet I don't get the burnt taste.

shambondow
One more question: If the carty is full enough or you direct drip, does it make a bubbling sound like toking on a bong? Or is that too many drops?
Jeffb
Usually the bubbling/gurgling noise means there is too much liquid.
shambondow
Ok, thanks. I kind of like the sound but if it's going to shorten the life of the parts I guess it isn't good.
