snubber Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 (edited) So tomorrow is Veterans Day. A day to remember our military personnel both past and present who have fallen in service for our country. But don't let it stop there. If you're out and about tomorrow and happen so see someone in uniform, why not walk up to them, shake their hand and thank them for their service. I do it all the time and they really do appreciate it. They need to know they are not just doing this for nothing. Go ahead...make their day! kitsune Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 Your right--They really do appreciate a heartfelt thank you and veterans day is always a good reminder to support our current and past military persons. +1 Snubber.
nana Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 Wonderful post!! And to all those here on VT who serve now or have served in the past... THANK YOU! Uma 1
Uma Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 Excellent thoughts, I couldn't agree more. And to those with an AppleBee's in your area, be sure to mention they're having a free meal for Vets serving now or retired, either one and for both. Especially good if you run into a homeless Vet ...
