Buckhorn Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 Can anyone tell me i bought a smart smoke kit from Canada the only thing i can read on the charger is sgs. I am wanting to know if a green smoke cartomiser will work on the smart smoke battery. New to this, is there any other brands you suggest i try. Thanks April
Christopher Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 Well without a website or a picture it's hard to say what model you have. There are hundreds of suppliers that all the same models just re-branded. (And many times over priced) Even if a Greensmoke cartomizer fit I would recommend it. There are many other suppliers that sell cartomizers for various models at a much cheaper price. (Also moving this to the noobie section of the forum)

Christopher Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 No problem, it's easy to get lost in the forum
Brian Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 Is this what you have: SmartSmoke Online? Under the cartomizers it says: "Fit on SmartSmoke, SmokeStik®, and Smoking Everywhere electronic cigarettes." I believe you'd be looking for something to fit an RN4081 model. I don't think Greensmoke cartos would work, but it's hard to say with so many new models popping up.
mcquinn Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 I would just get an RN4081 kit as they are easier to come by and you might get lucky and have a match. It is a good idea to have two chargers and you can never have enough batteries and atties/cartos.
noXious Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 If you have the resources to buy another kit I strongly urge you to consider the eGo. You won't be disappointed with it's performance and with most kits you get two complete setups which will have you well on your way to a satisfying vaping experience.
HyOnLyph Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 Since it's a 4081, and IF you want to stick with the kit you have, You might want to give SmokeStik cartomizers a try. I know they are a little more expensive than normal cartos. But they are designed differently than most and never burn. They last a long time. I have not burned one out yet. (although I'm probably a light vaper) They are easy to refill. I use them with 4081 bettery and have adapters to use them with 510. They are really vaping machines. The down side is that they only come in tobacco or menthol. If you want to use your own juice, you will need to rinse them and refill. But their flavors are pretty good. Happy vaping.

Brian Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 Had to check about 15 sites before I found this. Seems not very many suppliers carry this one. AZ Smoke Free

The SmokeStik cartomizers are not inexpensive. But they seem to last a lot longer than other cartomizers I've used. If what you have is a 4081 style threads on the battery, then you don't need any adapter. If you opt for a 510 style (or something else) and want to use a SmokeStik cartomizer, you can get the adapter at http://www.shop.goodprophets.com/ GoodProphets is very inexpensive ($0.99 ea.) for their adapters and they list them in a way that is easy to understand. re: SmokeStik .... I don't know if they will ship from the US to Canada... I know there is a SmokeStik Canada but don't know about their practices regarding nicotine. If you call SmokeStik's customer service line, you will probably get Lorraine. She can help. (feel free to tell her I sent you ... HyOnLyph) Perhaps their other reps can help too but she's great. https://usa.smokestik.com/contact.htm Their cartomizers are refillable so if you can get the liquid, you can use it. Chris from this forum did a good video on refilling 4081 cartomizers. Does VaporTalk Store ship to Canada? If so, try some of their flavors... they are really great. I use them in SS cartos and get tons of flavor and vapor. If nicotine cartos is against the law in Canada, What do folks do in Canada who want to use ecigs??? Edited November 19, 2010 by HyOnLyph
Brian Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 Ah - I got confused. Thought you were looking for an RN4081 to 510 adapter.
noXious Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 Many US suppliers ship to Canada but there are also a few Canadian Suppliers as well. VaporTalk does ship to Canada .. this was confirmed in chat last night. Good luck Buckhorn. Keep us informed of how your journey fares

I guess most people will have to keep chewing nicotine gum or the candy form, the patch, or like myself at this stage of the game i use ecigs to cut down my analog (funny name) use. Its a tough go, i live 5 minutes from the Curve Lake res. You can buy a carton of bagos for $20.00 one store even carries its own custom blend with their own label. When whities here are around $11.00 a 25 pak its one busy and rich reservation. However who knows how long that will last as this is done on reservations all over Ontario, the police have started stopping people leaving the reserve charging them huge fines for buying smokes that no taxes are paid on so much a smoke ive heard. Thanks all for the advice hope one day to quit analogs for good and dont want to chew gum or wear a patch my goverment pisses me off. If i werent such a coward i would join the free man on the land movement, Thanks again all, i will place an order from this site. AZ Smoke Free Edited November 20, 2010 by jeffb
