Christopher Posted November 7, 2010 Posted November 7, 2010 Put American Idol on pause and take a look at this video. Very Cool.
noXious Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 That blew my mind and I am speechless while lost in thought. Christopher 1
snubber Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 Very insightful and interesting. Have to get my wife the "bible thumper" to watch this and see what she has to say. Ought to be goood.
Schizophretard Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 I liked it but I disagreed with the black and whiteness between science and religion. It is too either or about it, you're either scientific or religious. That seems as black and white as Heaven and Hell, Arab and Jew,.... It doesn't have to be that way. I try to look for a grey area or an area filled with all possible colors.
AimeeG Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 I really could've used this last Thursday when my principal told me I should not have explained how "under god" got to be in the pledge of allegiance to my seventh graders. I was trying to explain how each one of us has our own view point. Apparently, taking my non-given viewpoint out of context made many of my charges go home and talk about this eye-opening experience, which then resulted in numerous parents calling my boss. In short, thank you for sharing.
Uma Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 Im not an atheist... I believe in God ... but I absolutely do not believe in religion. Religion was invented by man ... the perfect Mafia... Omerta Schizophretard and Christopher 2
Christopher Posted November 9, 2010 Author Posted November 9, 2010 Also believe in a supreme being. But my brain is wired to question everything. The more I look into religion the more I believe it's an awesome...story. By humans, for humans.
Brian Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 This has always been an inner struggle for me. Totally agree with Uma - I don't like organized religion. I live my life more Christian like than most church goes who judge me for not going to church. AimeeG 1
Jeffb Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 I go to church and dont judge you Brian. Jeffb 1
Brian Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 I go to church and dont judge you Brian. I can always count on family for support (Vapor Talk Family).
BirdDog Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 A very moving video each time I watch it. That is all I have to say.
owutaqt Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 Being a christian has nothing to do with going to church. Church is simply a place to belong and fellowship with others that believe in the same things. It is to have ppl around you to encourage you when your down and to share your joy with when your happy. God wanted ppl to go to church to take time out to worship Him and to strengthen each other. I judge no one, anyone who believes in the bible would know its not our place. Great video Chris beautiful to watch Jeffb 1
DAYVAPE Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 I thought I was watching another Pink Floyd video there for a minute.
kitsune Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 I really Loved that !!! WOW !!! Religion will always have a place--for my mother is has helped her immeasurably over the years (after a horrific accident). I agree--Religion is made by man for man. The Universe is infinite AimeeG 1
