AimeeG Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 So I'm sitting here with my bottle of midnight. I know full well that I have another bottle. But even with the bottle upside down, I can't seem to get some of the last little drops to fall into the dropper. I've shaken, spinned, and coaxed it the best I can. What do the rest of you do?
noXious Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 lol Aimee that's the point at which I introduce the bottle to the rubbish I do try to get as much as possible though. I generally turn upside down and tilt at an angle. Whatever is left after that really doesn't care to come out and play.
Christopher Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 Put your left food in and your right foot out, do the hookie pookie and it all comes out, hey! I'll be here all night folks.
AimeeG Posted November 3, 2010 Author Posted November 3, 2010 Oh, NO, noXious, you do NOT throw away VT bottles! They are the best bottles for DIY. But I see your point. Christopher, I'm pretty sure one of the coaxing methods I tried was a little jig, indeed. What else you got?
Schizophretard Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 I put the bottle in some kind of bag with something heavier than the bottle like a battery. I put a rubber band around the bag, battery, and bottle(top of bottle aimed at bottom of bag). I spin the bag really fast. Centrifugal force gets the last drop out of the bottle.

Why that sounds like a method I've heard of to get liquid in and out of cartos! Blimey, mate!

Jolly Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 i use different bottles that don't leave drops, its like rainx on a window. for your needs though.. take off the dropper part and submerge the bottle about half way into hot water. do not boil them as they will collapse and pretty much be unusable.
snubber Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 I think the needle idea sounds like the best bet. And I agree about keeping the bottles. Great for DIY.
Uma Posted November 4, 2010 Posted November 4, 2010 I set mine inside a ziplock bowl and sit back relaxed knowing there's some there for emergencys. Mind you, knowing how to get it out in an emergency is a different story.... hot pin in the bottom, a thread to work as a wick, pair of scizzors and a ... oh wait, that syrnge trick sounds like a plan come to think of it.
Mike Posted November 4, 2010 Posted November 4, 2010 I just balance the bottle upside down for a while and then the last few drops are right there when I need it.(This works for bottles of ketchup too)

BirdDog Posted November 4, 2010 Posted November 4, 2010 I shake it, curse at it and then hurl it against a wall. You guys are much more patient than I am.
