owutaqt
They say you should only have so many mg of PG per kg of body weight, but does anyone know how many mg are in a ml of e-juice?
mastiffmom
Should be mg/mL. Or as noted like 18mg/mL is 18mg in every mL. if different it would read 18mg/5mL. For example if I have 10mg/mL of say a medication and I want to give 1 mg I would mix with 10mL of say saline = 1mg/mL then. I think I'm just muddying the water here. I can do this in my sleep would be a terrible teacher.

Micrograms-mcg,milligrams-mg, grams-G all weights. Milliliter-mL, liter-L all volume. You can convert mcg to mg, 1mcg=0.1mg, or 1000mL-1L but not mg to mL. I think I made it worse sorry. kitsune
Mastiffmom had it. The nicotine strength is Mg/Ml. i.e. 18mg liquid is 18mg/1 ml Just re-read the post--no clue how much PG is in a ML. I didn't think PG was measured in MG, only Ml's.......

You're right PG and VG is measured in mL .They are the solvents. Geeze Kitsune did ya ever think we'd remember any of that chemistry stuff? Took 3 classes and HATED it almost as much as algebra which I never conquered and yet here are able to use it. I guess all that book learning came in handy:)

mastiffmom
Me either! Never understood why we needed it until I graduated. To my shock I used algebra every shift. We mixed our own IVs in the ER at night except for nitro and heprain which were all pre-mixed, just hung and set pump. Mixed TPA and cardizem nearly every night, and those stinky banana bags yeck. That smell and Rocephin do not wash off.
