IF you dont have a multimeter, you can buy a DVM from VaprLife. I have both and the DVM is just as accurate as the multimeter and is more convenient.

a full turn (360 degrees) = roughly .2 V, although this does change slightly depending on where the voltage is currently at.

That's the kicker... knowing what it's set at right now. Do they pre-set them to 5 volts Burn? I know the Buzz was/is 4.5...

5v confirmed

Thanks for the info gang. the joker actually isn't mine. i oredered it for a friend who's new to vaping, and he decided to go with the joker. I'm jealous! i wish i had an experienced friend as i would've ordered the joker off the bat instead of the ego. The joker is next on my list. It's awesome.

He's using cartos. He started at the preset 5v but dialed it down slightly. Does it really matter if you "know" what voltage it's at? I mean, as long as he doesn't use LR atty/cartos it's all good at any voltage it'll provide correct?

I'm thinking of trial and error for him as he's strapped for cash right now.

Oh that's totally fine to do it that way. We know what they are from the supplier... then just give it a couple turns left and be good to go. At least that's how I prefer my cartos... 4.6 - 4.8 is great!

LOL

If your not the type of control freak that HAS TO KNOW, as I am, simply turning it to get to where you like it works very well.

Oh I hear that.... I have to know too! If I'm adjusting it, to say, 4.5 volts and I turn the screw some and it reads 4.596 I will make certain to tweak it till t's 4.5 even! Madness I tell ya!
