CoffinLess
Oh my!!! been sitting and looking at all the first time stuff I got!! I'm feeling like a kid in a candy shop!! I purchased both the Joye510 and eGo as hoping to entice husband and friend into becoming tobacco free too. But, in all my excitement I do not know where to start. Just think I will watch all the instruction videos and start on the first day of October(like tomorrow) hehe!! Have one question - the supplier included pre-filled carts and they seem over filled cause there is leakage around the caps. Should I use them that way or remove some liquid? Of to weed the garden - the excitement is too much!!! 51 years of smoking usually a pack of cigarettes daily and 'POOF' it ends tomorrow.
Lily
Happy that your "stuff" arrived! The prefilled carts just have to be unwrapped (one at a time as you use them) and wiped off with a kleenex or paper towel (which you will want to have around with you to wipe off excess liquid anywhere). Hopefully you've purchased an extra bottle of e-liquid to refill the cartridges when the filler becomes dry. There are great "How To" videos on the forum as you know. I think you'll pick up the basics pretty quickly, and then perhaps want to go further with direct dipping or using a cartomizer, though there are no musts, just preferences. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to post them. We are definitely here to help you out! Edited September 30, 2010 by Lily
Uma
Wooohooo! Congrats on your new kits! It's normal for the carts to leak a little around the caps. Just wipe off the outside with a kleenex and you're good to go. First thing to do is to remove the empty cart that is pre attached to your atty. Save it for later, for dripping. Shake your eliquid before topping off the carts as needed. charge the batteries ... and HAPPY VAPING!!

FTJoe
51 years of smoking usually a pack of cigarettes daily and 'POOF' it ends tomorrow. yeah!!! Now just in case there are issues, lets work through them. If you need an anlogue here and there, that's fine. As I always say, this is not a diet, its not a failure if you don't go vaping 100%. Eating chocolate cake on a diet "undoes" the diet. Having a cigarette when vaping does not "undo" the alternative. Replace one cig, that's great, replace half, fantastic, most of them, awesome. The goal is none, but it is a journey with little bumps along the way. So relax and enjoy and figure things out. I am confident you will get there, most people do. Also, when you can, dump the pre-filled!!! ;-) Get some good juice to work with, makes it so much nicer. JMHO. Welcome.
