HyOnLyph
this is my first attempt but kind of aggressive for me. I'm thinking about building a mod. the item that I'm going to convert has a box in it for two AA batteries. First, isn't AA too low a voltage to work? Second, is there a battery that is the same size but will work. Third, can I put a mini or micro usb port in the bottom so that I can charge or use it as a passthrough too.? I appreciate the help. Thanks.
benjamin1990
14500 are the size of a AA battery. and they are 3.7v. just the same as a regular e-cig.
Uma
The Puck is an aa, and he has an excellent tutorial out on how to create your own. I don't remember what the bells and whistles were. Try a google search for the ecig Puck while you wait for the modders to show up.
Jolly
for that mod you emailed me about if you want 5v use 2 - 14500s if you want 3.81v you can use another set of batteries i know of that put out something like 1.9v per. if you just want a single 3.7v mod you can use any single li-ion battery. Thanks... I'm thinking 3.8 volt would be fine. I'm trying to work up the courage to try this. I'm not sure it would have the same value to me if I didn't do it myself. I'd like to keep the existing 2xAA battery box if possible because it fits so perfectly on the outside. I'm going to ponder this a little. thanks again.
