BEERCITYVAPRZ
Was wondering if anyone has tried the supplier (forgot name) that has ginseng, vitamin c and others health things in it, any video reviews on it?, anyone ever try it? did you feel a difference? interesting! Christopher
This was part of the reason the FDA sent out cease and desist letters. This is a quick ticket to FDA hot water. Most suppliers are removing these products from their stores. You'd probably have to purchase from a Chinese supplier in order to purchase these types of liquid. Jkimbo
Was wondering if anyone has tried the supplier (forgot name) that has ginseng, vitamin c and others health things in it, any video reviews on it?, anyone ever try it? did you feel a difference? interesting! I only know one supplier that still offers such additives, ginseng, vit c. We may be thinking of the same one, it sounds like it lol. Any way my thoughts on it are pretty Libertarian. So what, mind your own business and yes, FDA please, fock off and get a real job. I am more upset with the freaking flood of candy, fruit and food flavor juices out there and lack of tobacco flavors which I feel borders criminal lol. I don't think the FDA has a problem with ginseng and vitamin c, it's other additives such as dietary additives and or poisonous ones. They also have a problem with the form of advertising and claims made. But for some reason are not overly concerned with the 4000 additives in tobacco or the claim that "light cigarettes are less dangerous or better for you." They really are a bunch of retards. I tried the ginseng, it's orderless, tasteless and honestly the percentage of it added is so minute to have any effect at all. You already hit on a bigger problem in another thread regarding the flood of candy and desert flavors out there. Critics can point to that and say they are targeting kids. Here is what i would like to see however. More consistency in rating and producing these juices with the ingredients listed on labels. Lets all get on the same page. One supplier considers 16mg HIGH and another considers it Medium. The different variations of the same flavor would also be easily detectable if the ingredients were labeled. I would also like to see the freedom to be able to purchase what ever nic dose I want. And finally I want a freaking WARNING LABEL on every juice bottle that reads: WARNING: The FDA may be hazardous to your health and freedom! and before the end of the month too! mcquinn
I would be wary of such things as some chemicals change properties when heated.I think I would just swallow the blue pill and vape some Dulcis till it kicks in.
Jkimbo
We really are becoming a nanny state and a nation of whiners! The same kind of uproar went over Alcohol Energy drinks too. Targeting kids, what's in it, whats the effects, dangerous, ban, ban, ban. upStomp

Popsicle
oh sorry Chris I thought you told me thats why you have the editor in place so it just gets blanked out, I'll keep it down I understand. Haha, that's what I'm thinking. The filter takes the fun out of scolding us! I think one of the companies with weird additives was Johnson Creek. I think that's the name? The creeps with a tree logo? Someone sent me a sample of their tobacco flavor. It is now dark, dark, DARK bluish green. Almost BLACK... There is no reason for tobacco liquid to be blackened green. I wouldn't recommend their products. I think the only additive I'd vape is caffeine. Sounds like a cool idea. But as Chris said, you won't find many companies doing this, because the FDA will go after you personally.
FTJoe
I love JC...they do add something to all their juices that gives it a distinctive flavor. Here's their faq, assuming they are not lying, I have no issues with their juices. http://www.johnsoncreeksmokejuice.com/category/faq#ing Even their 0mg juices are caramel colored. Singularity
From what I understand, the FDA targeted companies that put bizarre ingredients into their e-liquids without notifying consumers. Also, the ingredients were not approved to be used in any USA made product as they had dangerous side effects or were toxic. I believe that manufactures should be allowed to add ginseng and other similar ingredients as long as their products list those special ingredients. However, I don't want to make an order from a company with erectile dysfunction medication in it without knowing it! Still the FDA has gone crazy, probably bought off by big tobacco companies. FTJoe
From what I understand, the FDA targeted companies that put bizarre ingredients into their e-liquids without notifying consumers. That wasn't my understanding or interpretation. Don't take this as an attack but I read the letters and as far as I could tell, it was mostly a complaint to each company that they are marketing an item that is claiming to treat a disease. The news article mentioned a cialis drug that shouldn't be there, but two companies with the cialis and other "health" drugs the complaint was not properly noting the percentage of the active ingredient. And also one with a possible contaminant, as well as, a mis-labeled drug, the FDA is complaining that its not actually cialis. Testing by FDA's DPA also revealed that the Cialis prefilled cartridges and the Cialis Healthcare E-Liquid contained amino-tadalafil, not tadalafil, the reference listed drug in Cialis. The substitution of this ingredient renders the products adulterated under section 501(d) of the Act. (21 U.S.C 351(d)). Here are the C&D letters, http://www.fda.gov/ICECI/EnforcementActions/WarningLetters/2010/default.htm Look down at Sept. 8th. Here's a complaint about penguin, its kind of laughable if it weren't so serious. The labels of your B(4) Juice Natural Apple Juice Blend Concentrate, B(4) White Grape Juice Blend Concentrate, and B(4) Passion Fruit Juice Blend Concentrate products declare “Contains 100% Flavored Juice Blend When Reconstituted to the Mixing Ratio”; however these products do not contain 100% juice when prepared according to the package directions. We calculated the total percentage of juice in your products using your firm’s product formulation sheets and the information you provided to our investigator regarding the firm’s substitution of all juice volumes in formulations containing white grape concentrate with a 50-50 blend of apple and pear concentrate because the white grape concentrate was no longer used. Based upon our calculations, your B(4) Natural Apple Juice Blend Concentrate, B(4) White Grape Juice Blend Concentrate, and B(4) Passion Fruit Juice Blend Concentrate products actually contain approximately 89%, 89% and 91% juice respectively when reconstituted according the package directions. Therefore, the label declaration of 100% juice blend is not accurate. The labels of your Penguin Juice Co. Orange Juice Concentrate, B(4) Pineapple Juice Concentrate, and Penguin Juice Co. Prune Juice Concentrate products do not contain declarations of percentage of juice in the product. So again, not blasting you at all, but I think we shouldn't feed into whatever the FDA is trying to do here which appears to be scaring the companies and the consumers. I think it would be nice if they would do their job as I'm sure there are some companies out there that need "handling". Of course I could be horribly wrong and if I am, someone please let me know. I bought a boatload of JC juice just in case. ;-) Edited September 29, 2010 by FTJoe BEERCITYVAPRZ, Christopher and Uma

Uma
I remember, from many months ago, posters (over at the other forum) requesting suppliers to add this and add that to see if it could be done. Being caught up in the heat of the creative moment, some of the companies obviously did attempt requested recipes. Sadly, nobody thought about the consequences. They were just trying to please the buyer, and the creative input. As far as I know, they were labeled accordingly. Nothing sinister about it. (except maybe the posters... hmmmm... just who were those posters anyway lol)

I don't think JC had an additive issue, I believe it was another two companies with "health" liquids. JC, like the others, were tagged with selling something they claimed would help with a disease (nicotine addiction) and they also got tagged for not keeping their facilities up in regards to pharma industry standards for drug preparation. Sounds bad, but this isn't a facility making darvon. I wouldn't know if those other two companies removed it (I doubt it) but that's not something I care about anyway. JC is very up front about what's in their juices, could they be lying? I guess. http://www.johnsoncreeksmokejuice.com/category/faq#ing Q: I'm looking for an ingredients list. Is this something you provide? A: Johnson Creek Original Smoke Juice is happy to furnish our ingredient list! In fact, we list our ingredients right on the bottle. * Propylene Glycol (in PG Recipe) * Food-grade Vegetable Glycerin * Food-grade Glycerol * Distilled water * Nicotine (except in Zero Nicotine recipe) * Natural Flavors * Artificial flavors * Citric Acid

Singularity
Alright FTJoe, thanks for the link and you are correct about Cialis. It wasn't just the Cialis I was talking about it was also the tadalafil and rimonabant. These drugs (including Cialis) were used without displaying the proper quantities of each drug. In addition, I saw their claims that their juice could reduce weight etc, maybe I just missed it, but I didn't see where it explained HOW it did so. P.S. Tried Johnson's Creek and didn't care for it much.
