profbeard Posted September 9, 2010 Posted September 9, 2010 I'd been using TornEgo Mega Cartos and Atties on my SDs and Super Six via 901 to 510 adapters, but the adapter I was using on the SDs was too long (atty length) and looked crap... So I asked Garry Dibley at e-cig city if he would make me an adapter to my own measurements and he kindly did - for free - what a star! Anyway, here is the adapter - next to a regular "short" adapter: Garry said it was a pig to make by the way And here is the result - a Matt Black SD Mk2 with a TornEgo Mega Cartomiser fitted - I think it looks really good: (The adapter gives a flush fit on SD Mk1 and 2 with TornEgo Mega Cartos and Atties)

WillBlack Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 It vapes splendidly - the SD batteries give about 4.2v when fresh The batteries may charge to 4.2V, but they vape (loaded volts) at a about 3.7V when fresh. It looks amazing! How does it vape? I use my eGo mega atomizer with a 5v 510 PT and it vapes amazingly great but it looks like crap! LOL!!! Remember with an eGo atty you need to have about 2.4A of current to get to 5V.
