Ego Mega Carto On An Sb

Hey guys! How would I go about using my eGo's Mega Cartomizers (and possibly mega attys) on my SB? I've come to the conclusion that I'd rather shop for one doodad and have that one doodad fit all. Easier on the pocketbook too. Besides, I have the worst time trying to remember if my LR doodad will be okay on my HR whatchamacallit or if I need to reverse the doohicky's ... Use a LR on an ego but not on a 510 or a 510 that has a PT which makes it a 5v instead of a 3.7v... oh i go nuts trying to keep things straight!... I sure hope someone knows a way that allows us to marry our eGos to our SB's. (won't have to worry what atty I have on my SB when I plug it in)

I think you'd need some type of 510 extension to use the eGo cartos/mega atty on the SB. I haven't seen any, but will keep an eye out. Jeffrey said the plastic on the eGo cartos was pretty soft and the skirt could be trimmed off. I think if you did that, the Carto would work on the SB. I've heard that the atty skirt is not plastic though, so you won't be able to do the same with it.

I'm wondering if this will work... I'll post on the TW forum and see if I can get an answer.

I haven't been impressed with any cartos yet, so can't answer that for you. What I do is use the regular 510 attys on my SB PT and my LR 901 without the PT and the LR 510 on my eGo. I keep a different kind of drip tip on the regular attys than I do on the LR attys, that way I know which atty is which. I keep the atty that I use on the PT beside the PT at the computer. I keep all my regular attys in a container right there, too. I keep the LR attys in a different place. That way I don't mix them up or get confused. When I'm going to the computer and will be using the PT, I take the top off the SB, along with the atty, so that when I get there, I have to put the other atty on.

I haven't gottan an answer to my question yet, but was reading on the TW forum and I found where some people are using this adapter on other units with the eGo/Tornado Cartomizer/Attomizer. Sounds like it will work.

Sorry, I don't have an answer to your questions, but I wanted to congradulate you on your use of whatchamacallit, doodad, and doohicky's. That was hilarious! I feel the same way sometimes.

Thanks Brian!! I might go ahead a trim a few and dedicate them to SB, but an adapter would allow me to have a forever choice. I'll go check that out. Thx!

I agree with you over the regular cartos'... love em/hate em... non consistant... great when perfect. Then I tried the Mega Cartos for my eGo and fell in love. (except for refilling and prices). I also don't like sticky fingers at the keyboard especially, and cartos help to miminize that problem.

I tried a variation of your technique but still forgot this and that... and blew a LR ... and my mind lol. I truely need to simplify even more so. Thanks for the advice though!

Looks kinda funny... but they do work with that adapter.
