eruelas
I need some help for my mom and dad (65 & 67). My dad has been vaping a Xhale02 kit for a month and has not gone back to analogs, and my mom wants to try it out at 0 nic, she was a smoker for God knows how many years, but she had to quit for health issues and she misses it a lot specially around friends or when she goes to the casinos. I have been vaping a 510 for a little more than a month, I love it with all the little thinks you have to do and avoid (flooding, burning attys, filling carts, dripping, etc.). My main concern is that I do not think they are going to be able to do all that with out being discouraged, and I want something better for them than the xhales or the ehooka (same company). I looked at the Vapor King from vapor4life, but I was wondering If you guys think there could be a better option for them. Any help or ideas would be appreciated. Best regards to all. kitsune
510 or ego (better battery life) with cartomizers. or they can drip using drip tips. I have had much less flooding problems with dripping using the drip tips. 2-3 drops at a time, until vapor production drops off then add more liquid. I haven't used cartomizers yet, but I know many swear by them. There is no ideal solution to the flooding, attys, dripping etc. As you well know, after a bit of practice it gets pretty routine. I am thinking for them cartomizers might be the best option. you can help them refill them as needed. they hold much more liquid than standard carts. Not sure if that helped. benjamin1990
if you dont want to worrie about flooding and an easy product get an ego and get some cartomizers! they are so simple and easy to fill and last a good part of the day from someone not vaping constanty. just my opinion. FTJoe
Cartos, get a bunch, load them up. Drip tip maybe, when they get about half way done, switch and then reload if they can else wait for someone who can. Worse comes to worse, some people buy them preloaded and toss them. eruelas
Now, that would point to another question about cartomizers, I bought some cartos about 2 weeks ago, and I keep getting a plastic taste out of them, not burning plastic, just as little rubber-bandish taste, also the throat hit multiplied by 3, but vapor was reduced noticeable, are all cartos the same, or it depends where you get them from?, where do you suggest I should buy good cartomizers?. I would not mind filling their cartos at all, so that would be a great idea, but the ones I bought I do not think would be really appealing to them. Thanks for all your help. Roober
Heck, vapor talk sells them, I'm pretty sure. Just click the store link up top
Jolly
almost every carto i have taste like that. i run water threw mine then blow them out. to try i either spin them with no caps on them or toss them in the back of a car window when out and about. then i take the caps and boil them in a pot of water, drain and do it once more and let dry. it's the caps that give them that taste. mcquinn
The ones with the aluminum threads like VaporTalk and ElectroNicStix sells are the best.I would recomend a 510 carto kit for them,it doesn't get any easier than that. Brian
Where did you get your cartos from? I'm wondering if they may be LR cartos and just going through the jucie faster. I've never had one taste like that. As for your parents, probably a KR808 or 510 with cartos. If you think they'd be frustrated with using attys, since you use a 510, you could keep the attys from any kit they get and replace them with cartos. eruelas
Hey guys, doing a little research I found out that the cartomizers I got are from Bauway, and not the Boge's, I was reading that at 6 or 5volts work like a charm, but on low voltage they do not work as expected, so after all, it was not the right cartos, the good thing is that I have only used 2, I will save the other three for when I make the jump to a higher volt mod. I am going to buy the Boge's and try them out, if they work, I will get my parents an ego and a manual 510 battery, so they can decide which kind of battery they like. Thank you very much for all your help. I will keep you posted, hopefully I will have news of two new vapers.
Lily
This is quite a story about you helping your parents. I for one will want to know how it all works out. Thanks for your post.

DAYVAPE
I'm with Ben... NEVER had any nasty taste. As a matter of fact, they taste better than anything I've used to date. I think yours might not have been full enough. Just a thought. I won't go back to atty's because of my happiness with cartos at higher voltages. BreakingBad
As others have said, I think an eGo with cartomizers would be your best option for your parents. The battery life will keep them going and filling cartos is pretty easy and will allow them to vape for long periods of time. Hope it all works out. eruelas
I will try your suggestions, I have a bunch of extra 510 batteries, I will get the good cartos fill them up and have them try them out, I will just need to get some 0 nic liquid for my mother, if everything goes well I will set them up with some ego batteries and a collection of cartomizers. Thank you for all your help. BTW, I changed the juice on the cartos to all VG and the plastic taste went away, the cartos are rated at 2.5 ohms, rather than 3.2 ohms the Boges have, maybe that is why people like them at higher voltages, and hate them at 3.7 Thanks again and have a great and vape-full day. The 2.5ohm should work better on lower voltages.
snubber
However you work it out I'd just like to say I think it's great that you're trying to help your parents. You'll probably extend their life and that's wonderful. Keep up the good work. Good luck and happy vaping.
