MissEdie
what is the deference between regular atty and LR attys
snubber
The LoRes attys have a lower ohm resistance and burn hotter. The biggest problem with them is they tend to burn out faster and you have to make sure you always keep them wet. But on an Ego or Tornado the really work wonders. Makes it resemble a 5v unit. FTJoe
We are also hearing reports of the possibly causing issues with batteries (killing them). Having said that I'm a big proponent of LRs.
BreakingBad
I like my Screwdriver and my Tornado. But with a LR atty, I love them! Such a huge difference from a regular atty. I myself have had huge success with 510 LR atty's. The one 901 I had however lasted all of 2 puffs and then kaput!
profbeard
I've been using LR901 atties on my Screwdriver - they work well and don't remove as much flavour as the LR510 atties I've tried...
