Carto Life? Cleaning Attys?

Recommended Posts

Ok, i'm about a month into vaping and there is certainly a learning curve. I received my first cartos today and love it. So easy and they work great.

So, what kind of life do these things get? How many times do you guys refill them? Do they just start to taste like arse when they're kicked or do they just stop working?

I have several attys now and really intend on sticking with the cartos for the most part. But i've recently been enjoying dripping. My attys need cleaning as i was flooding them a lot at first. What's the best way to clean these attys for future dripping?

Thanks everyone. Happy vaping!

As far as cartos are concerned... your best bet is to keep them from ever going dry. Don't let them get to the point of tasting bad.... just keep them full if you can. I can't help you with atty's... as I only use cartos now. Can't stand regular atty's after using cartos for so long.

all i use is cartos. i love them . they are the best i have a video in the how to section of the forum check it out it will make your attys and cartomizers last for a while. i use a single cartomizer almost a month. and i do it by cleaning it about every two weeks. sometimes more sometimes less. hope that video helps you out.

i checked out your video ben. thanks. so you really just flush warm water through your cartos to clean them bi-monthly? that's incredibly easy. i haven't needed to clean mine yet but am gonna try when the time comes.

I usually get a 10 ml bottle of liquid from a carto before it starts tasting bad and I chuck it, with atties I think it depends a lot on the liquid you use how long they last I have had some work as long as six months and others a few days.

While you can stretch cartomizets for quite a long time, remember the fiber inside wasn't designed to be burned to a crisp. You'll notice the carto turn brown in the middle after a while, it's at this point you are probably best to change it out. It's just not worth the potential to inadvertently inhale anything toxic.

Have to agree with that one. If you can get one carto to last say a month you're way ahead of the game. And at the price that some vendors are selling them you really aren't loosing money. Remember that they were made to be disposable. I've had some last a few weeks and some only a couple of hits. They really are touchy. But good luck on your quest.

Good luck and happy vaping.

My biggest complaint about carto's is the amount of liquid that you never get to use ,as it takes a lot to fill one the first time and a lot is left in there when you chuck them. But they are more consistant during thier lifespan.

That's when I toss mine... I've also found that once the juice starts turning brownish I just give it a good ol "T-spin" and start with fresh juice. Man I love cartos. No more fumbling with atty's/dripping/cleaning/etc.
