Strange Observation...

So I peeled the black wrap off of several 510 cartos because I like the stainless look as well.

After doing so, and cleaning all the sticky off... I see something on the carto. About 1/2" down from the top there is a letter "K" actually inscribed into the metal. Anyone have any idea what this means or why it's there? I checked like 3 and they all have the same thing stamped into them. It's kind of hard to see at first... but upon further looking you can find it. Suppliers, you ever see this or know what it's there for?

i got a 510 LR atty that has LR-EM5 on it, didn't know where it came from. Anybody know what the EM5 is????
