how do you get the piece that holds the flashlight in out? its ticking me off!!

That is why they get the big bucks for mods.I suppose you have to drill it out .I have a three AAA cell flashlight that is the same way I can't figure it out so I went with box and pipe mods.

I was going to say bash it, beat it, drill it, etc...

I used to take a screwdriver and put it in a vice with the tip pointed upwards. With it screwed to the bottom of the flashlight, place it over the screwdriver and push down. If it doesn't pop of relatively easy, you got a stubborn one. In that case, hold it in place and tap the top of the flashlight with a rubber mallet.

If all else fails, drill that puppy out.

I like to save the switches.

Go for it ,fix it or finish it off is my motto.I think flashlight mods look cool but really hard to build.

yah im pretty excited about this one it has a green switch the green body and a green led! so its going to look nice. i think im just going to drill it out!
