twilightbloom Posted August 6, 2010 Posted August 6, 2010 (edited) I'm now stocked up on atty's. I think I have around 12 backups now. And today I got my first cartomizers. Wow these vape good! No mess, no fuss. And I can taste the flavor very well this way. No hassles with refilling cartridges, that don't last long enough for me. Or flooding my atty dripping which I tend to do. Now I am hoping I can get some good life out of these cartomizers. I love cartomizers. I just had to pop in and say it. MMM Vaping Thin Mint by DIY Flavorshack Edited August 6, 2010 by twilightbloom
twilightbloom Posted August 6, 2010 Author Posted August 6, 2010 Did ya get the standard or LR Carto'z? I got standard. Getting lot's of vape!
FTJoe Posted August 6, 2010 Posted August 6, 2010 Remember, tru-vapor from vaporsetc are medium res (2.4) for those experimenting.
benjamin1990 Posted August 7, 2010 Posted August 7, 2010 hey i love cartomizers also! they are amazing! i dont even use attomizers anymore unless im testing a flavor!
thisbetterwork Posted August 18, 2010 Posted August 18, 2010 i just got my first cartos today and i'm hooked. works great and it's easy.
michealprater Posted August 18, 2010 Posted August 18, 2010 Can you buy flavored cartomizers somewhere?
DAYVAPE Posted August 18, 2010 Posted August 18, 2010 (edited) Yes, many vendors have prefilled cartos... it's just not the most economical way to go. I've seen some that weren't even half full. So now it's empty all the way... then I fill myself. Edited August 18, 2010 by DAYVAPE
michealprater Posted August 18, 2010 Posted August 18, 2010 I started another thread about refilling, but is there an easy way to do it on an M403 without using a syringe?
bobthesalesclerk Posted August 18, 2010 Posted August 18, 2010 I started another thread about refilling, but is there an easy way to do it on an M403 without using a syringe? I agree...cartos are the way to go. Dripping is fun but IMO it's not very practical. I use the carto condom method. Works like a charm! (although I refill from the soft tip side not the atomizer side). Hope this helped.
BEERCITYVAPRZ Posted August 18, 2010 Posted August 18, 2010 The only downside to cartos is the slight plastic taste and the fact that when you buy them empty they can be duds(not working), I actually like getting them filled and then just refilling them myself, seems they last longer too that way.
FTJoe Posted August 18, 2010 Posted August 18, 2010 they can be duds(not working) Yeah - I had one go out after 4 hits. Partial fill to make sure it sparks, two puffs. Now fill it all the way and two more puffs. Then dead. Just enough to lull me into dripping another 20 drops or so into it.

Yeah I know its wierd, I put like 20 drops in it to see if it was good and after a couple hits it started tasting plasticky nasty so I kept dropping more in and it didnt make a difference except the amount of liquid in my bottle!
BreakingBad Posted August 18, 2010 Posted August 18, 2010 Can you buy flavored cartomizers somewhere? I am sure there are a lot of places to buy flavored cartos. One place I know of for sure is Vapor4life. They have all kinds of flavors. http://store.vapor4life.com/Premium_Vapor_King_Electronic_Cigarette_Cartomizers_s/45.htm
JayH503 Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 I just got my Tornado Mega Cartomizers for my eGo's! I love them! They work a lot better than filling cartridges up. Consistent throat hits and vapor!
Michelle Posted August 20, 2010 Posted August 20, 2010 Just got my cartos from the mailbox and like them so far. Just one thing...they are louder than regular attys. Why?
FTJoe Posted August 20, 2010 Posted August 20, 2010 You don't like the sputtering? I guess just part of the architecture.
Michelle Posted August 20, 2010 Posted August 20, 2010 Just harder to be as sly with the carto. I'll get used to it eventually, but I noticed it right away.
FTJoe Posted August 20, 2010 Posted August 20, 2010 Had not thought of that, stealth vaping drawback. Did you get regular resistance, I didn't think they were that bad, just too cool (temp). Go down to medium or low and it's a racquet.
FTJoe Posted August 20, 2010 Posted August 20, 2010 (edited) Ouch - I hate when people make me remember, I believe nhaler and bombdropsvapor have LR cartos. Medium res 901s cartos at vapor4life (premium blanks) and medium res 510s cartos at vaportsetc (tru-vapor). They have MR 901s cartos as well (KR808D tru-vapor I think). DAYVAPE Posted August 23, 2010 Posted August 23, 2010 I didn't like any of the low/med res cartos that much. I'm in vaping nirvana with an adjustable voltage PV and standard 510 cartos. PERFECT I SAY! A standard carto @ 4.5 volts = LOVE AT FIRST VAPE.
