BirdDog Posted August 3, 2010 Posted August 3, 2010 My USB wall adapter for the charger broke. It actually still works, but the whole thing just came apart in my hands. I have rubber bands holding it together. This is my question...Can I use my USB plug adapter for the VP/PT to connect the USB charger for my Ego? I know the connections fit, but I am worried about the voltage? Are the adapters for the VP/PT too strong?
FTJoe Posted August 3, 2010 Posted August 3, 2010 (edited) I would think so but if you are unsure, use the computer for now. Adding - usually the USB voltage is 5V. Only the amps would be an issue, and I would think the only issue is if too low. Then it will take longer. Over what you need and I think the device will only draw what it needs. but someone else will chine in I'm sure. Edited August 3, 2010 by FTJoe
mcquinn Posted August 3, 2010 Posted August 3, 2010 Sounds like some super glue is in order to repair the power supply.As long as everything is in place it would not hurt to use it taped or glued back together.
