So Far, So Good.

I recieved my Jaye 510 from Vapor Talk Store on Saturday. I was so excited! It took a little while to get the hang of it to make it work at its optimum, but now I got it down pat and I am loving it. Except for the battery life. I have seen people talk about it not being very good and I always said to myself that its probably not too bad. Wow. These die quickly. I am not a huge user and they still don't last long. But I still love the unit. Today, I recieved my Blu ecig kit. Yeah, I know, I know, not Blu. Well I got really excited about e-cigs wanting to use them to aid in getting off the cancer sticks and 1 nights research brought me to the Blu. Too bad I kept doing research in the days afterwards and saw that I made a mistake. One of the biggest attributes I need from an e-cig is the throat hit. That is what has kept me coming back to analogs after quitting, not necessarily the nicotine factor (that still does play some part obviously). Darn it! This Blu is like sucking through a straw. I get some vapor but zero throat hit. That is not going to work for me. I like the look of the Blu and the recharging pack but those are just icing on a cake that is not even baked. I don't know if this is due to the highest carts they have are only 16mg or what. I removed the foil before putting the cart on the atomizer to keep that from being the issue. Looks like this baby is going straight back!

Does anyone here have any experience with the Vapor4Life's Vapor King? Is it good? Is it comparable to something else you have tried? Thanks for the help.

If you're going to move up from the 510 you might as well get the eGo. The vapor king is comparable to the 510 except it uses cartomizers which you can buy for your 510.

You can also buy mega batteries for your 510 so they last longer.

The 510 atty is probably going to give you the best throat hit you're going to get without going to a high voltage model. I need TH also, and vaping at 5 to 6 volts has been great for me.

Vapor4Life sells KR808 models which use cartomizers. The threads are not compatible with the 510 you have. Since you have a 510, you may just want to pick up a pack of 510 cartomizers to try.

you don't "need" to go 5-6v. get a larger battery as in mAh and you will notice a huge difference in TH.

get a mod, i make my own stuff and run a 14500 battery at 3.7v & 900mAh (same size of an AA battery) lasts a day to day in a half before charging.

th is about 3-5 times higher depending on what juice i mix up. i have one blend that will choke me if i hit it to hard, thats my daily vape right now.

510 atty + drip + large battery = wooohooooo

I am using cartomizers with it. I also drip time to time.

I know nic level will dramatically change your TH as well. I vape at 16-18mg nic; it seems to cure my cravings just right. On my eGo (3.7 volt) it wasn't giving the TH I was used to with analogs, but my nic-fit was subdued. I tried a LR atty and WoW, there it is... perfection! I feel a 3.7v unit needs a LR atty to best simulate a real cigarette. I highly recommend an eGo with a LR atty and direct dripping. You won't be sorry! :)
