Who Will Help Legalize "E-Smokes"

As I delve further and further online into research about the Electronic Cigarette and the possibility that it may become illegal here in the United States I thought to myself "who's going to fight these guys" It's just a matter of time (if it's not already in the process) Before companies such as Nicorete and Phillip Morris but a quick stop to this new technology that has allowed so many of us to finally kick the old smoking habit. I decided to start sending out letter to various companies to find out whether or not they are doing anything to help aid in the process of legalizing Electronic Cigarettes. Tonight I started with Johnsons Creek. The reason I choose them first is primarily due to the fact that they are located within the United States. They are an American Company and I don't doubt it isn't long before the long arm of the FDA send a seis and desist letter to JC. This was the letter I wrote to them

"Christian,

I received my order in good time and I must say your products are A+!. Some interesting articles and posts have brought my attention towards the inevitable future regulations and or ban of the electronic cigarette and/or it’s “E-Juice.” It brings me nothing but grief that we just may lose this incredible step forward in technology that has enabled so many of us to leave the old smoking habit behind. I’m curious to know if Johnsons Creek is working with the FDA or any other person(s) to help aid in the possible legalization of E-Liquid, specifically here in the United States? Again thank you for such a great product and I hope to hear back from you soon.

I'd like to get some of your comments on this matter, opinions and suggestions to start in the aid of legalizing the Electronic Cigarette before it's to late. We can either stand around crying about it or get something started! I'm no lawyer by any means, but I have the time and a little resource to get started if someone can just start pointing in the right direction.

You know, we all here so many

different stories from order seizures to the absolute inevitable ban of

anything 'e-smoking', that it's often very difficult to cull through

everything and figure out what's really going on. No matter what happens

though, we as the founding members of this phenominal industry, must make

every effort to quell the rumors and work to gain real, tangible facts.

To date, Johnson Creek has been in contact with several people at the

FDA to try and find out where our industry is going to be heading in the

near future. What I can tell you with certainty is that they know about

e-smoking, they don't consider it a danger, they are aware of a small

handful of temporary merchandise holds, but deny making any permanent

seizures.

Whether this is true or not is almost beside the

point. I firmly believe that we have considerably less to worry about than

many would have us believe. Is the FDA going to come in and ban e-smoking

altogether? No. Come on, get real.

Is the FDA going to to wade into

this and begin regulating? Of course they are. Probably not real soon, but

eventually. I think our stance needs to be "so what?"

That is, the company who's primary focus is their customers and their

customers' well-being, has nothing to worry about. That's the company who

will welcome the opportunity to "legitamize" themselves and hold

themselves open for examination. Then, we can move beyond the paranoia and

concentrate full-time on our customers.

We have have a

once-in-a-lifetime opportunity here to give millions of people a choice

that most of them never even dreamed of. Let me ask you; how much do you

like e-smoking? Yeah, me too. Well, once the rest of the world knows about

e-smoking, look out because all you have to do is take your love of

e-smoking and multiply that by a few million and you've got an idea where

this industry is going to be in about five years.

So bring on the

FDA! The e-Smoking industry is ready and we're not going anywhere!
