LoriHNC Posted July 14, 2010 Posted July 14, 2010 How can you tell the difference between regular and low res attys if they don't have the gold band that says LR? I don't wanna burn any LR out on 5v by trial and error.
Jolly Posted July 14, 2010 Posted July 14, 2010 some are stamped on the battery connector quick way if you see no markings is to use a multimeter
Jeffb Posted July 14, 2010 Posted July 14, 2010 Joye stamps LR on the very bottom of the atty. It's small and hard to see at times

FTJoe Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 Worse comes to worse, try it on your regular 3.7V mega or tornado/ego) alongside a regular. It should be evident.

I'm getting stuff set up for the loonnnnnnnnnnnnnggggggggggggggg car drive tomorrow lol Only 680 miles. I'm gonna do carto with 5v PT for the drive. I'll drip at stops lol

Christopher Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 I love using a Carto on 5V, to me it's the only way to go. 5 Volt just eats liquid to fast to direct drip, cartos have sort of solved this issue.

I agree 100% with that statement!! Well... I guess the only part that is different for me is that I prefer them at 4.75 volts! It's seriously ALL I use at this time... except for an occasional vape session with my Tornado and a LR atty. LOL. Edited July 15, 2010 by DAYVAPE
FTJoe Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 I'll drip at stops lol I forgot to add - yeah - sure you will.
LoriHNC Posted July 16, 2010 Author Posted July 16, 2010 I forgot to add - yeah - sure you will. lol I guess my saying that is kinda too much information
LoriHNC Posted July 16, 2010 Author Posted July 16, 2010 That was a long drive but I'm there. Here. NY. Lets see, got cut off by a car, had a tractor trailer blow a tire and throw it at my car, then a dump truck lost control in the southbound lane, crossed the median and into our lane. We all slammed on brakes. Wow, I'm glad to be here alive. Vaping however, went extremely smooth. I used the 5v PT with a carto. It was great. When it got low, I handed it to my daughter and said "put some drops in here for mom and plunge it" lol She did great. But then again, she'll do anything to help me NOT smoke.
Jolly Posted July 16, 2010 Posted July 16, 2010 glad you made it, eh, in one piece. would have said safely but that all didn't sound safe. excluding the passing of the carto. we about get in a pile up every time we drive to FL from PA.. always "almost" happens in NC. on the way down, never back. need to gps a way around that whole area.
