B80
Is the stronger the nicotine in the liquid, the stronger the throat hit? I used to smoke Camel Lights just under a pack a day, I am currently using 18 mg e-juice and I really feel like the TH is way too much for me. It makes me cough as I mentioned before and it even burns a little. Should I go down to a lower nic level? I end up craving and then smoking analogs after a while because I am just not getting the enjoyment out of the vaping that everyone else seems to get. I don't understand why. ThaHodgehound
Yup, usually the higher the nic, the more throat hit you get. There is a small learning curve when just starting out. Try something with 10mg nic. are you dripping or using carts? If you drip and let the atty get dry, it creates a very strong TH! Also try some VG juice. I had the same thing happen to me, I tried some VG instead of PG juice and now I MOSTLY vape VG. You can also get a blend of PG/VG. Hope this helped and didn't confuse you more! FTJoe
Basically it voltage (heat) mostly nic. I went to zero and started the almost fruitless search for TH. I have it pretty good with a good 3.7V battery (ego) and low resistance attys. When I was dropping my levels I always had all different levels around, mix them to get different numbers. If you find 11 is right, see if you can go lower and then mix with the 18 to not waste it. Or save the 18 for that hangover/morning vape when you really need it. I've started arguments with the next sentence, but I really find the light and ultra light smokers I've helped simply can't take the high nic levels. Of course I was a menthol light smoker and started at 24.

Thanks I will try the lower and the VG I think. The problem is that we have a ton of 18 mg PG right now and I can't afford to buy more until maybe this weekend. I guess I'll just muddle through until then. Thanks again.

If you don't mind cutting the flavor, I hear tell of folks finding USPS VG in various places like Walmart, CVS, etc. Add that and nic is reduced (along with flavor) and you can see what a VG mic is like. I believe it is very inexpensive.
B80
Any recommendations of where I can buy the VG based liquid? I am only familiar with awesomevapor.com and theirs are all PG.
FTJoe
I always recommend wordupecig five 5ml sample bottles. PG, vg or a 50/50 mix. I think there was a thread, let me search... http://www.vaportalk.com/forum/forum/forum/topic/6518-vg-liquid-low-res-batteries/page__view__findpost__p__58166 http://www.vaportalk.com/forum/forum/forum/topic/1873-who-sells-vg-juice/page__p__12562__hl__vermont__fromsearch__1#entry12562 http://www.vaportalk.com/forum/forum/forum/topic/4278-liquid-question-please/page__p__36958#entry36958 Edited July 15, 2010 by FTJoe
