ddavelarsen
Thought I should take my own advice and post a recipe here. C'mon all you DIYers, post those recipes for the rest of us! We can't figure them all out ourselves! This is for flavoring only - mix it with your base to your own strength requirements. If anyone has questions how to do that, you're in the right place and I'll be happy to try to answer any questions too. Cinnamon Sunset Flavoring Makes 3 ml or use pct for your preferred volume - mix with your own nic base Flavour Art Mellow Sunset -- 1.7 ml -- 55% Fairies' Finest (or other) Cinnamon -- 1.4 ml -- 45% That's all there is to it. Mellow Sunset has kind of a bite on its own, and I've been looking for a way to tone it down to something I could vape. This did it perfectly! I was really thrilled how good it is. I've been vaping it almost daily since the first mix.
DAYVAPE
I actually do alot of DIY too... but I do things with the "eyeball method"... and make a small bottle first to taste/tweak to my liking, then I can make whatever size I want after I know what goes in it. This will sound crazy I'm sure... but I find myself mixing together the stuff I buy from different vendors to come up with some hybrid flavor. Let me just say... I end up with alot of amazing tasting stuff using this method. Anyway... sorry, but this cat has no recipies to share with anyone!! Maybe I will soon... I actually have/use nic base, flavoring, PG/VG, etc. Edited July 13, 2010 by DAYVAPE

I haven't been able to vape any of the tobacco flavors by themselves happily; they all seem to need something to smooth them off for me. I particularly can't vape Mellow Sunset by itself; that was one of the first ones I tried -- because the name said "mellow." I guess this means you have bigger huevos than I do. So far, this is the only one I've found that doesn't have that "old spice" taste. Probably why I like it.
kitsune
Mixed up a batch and I really like it. The cinnamon really does balance the mellow sunset. I used some of the 100mg/ml VG I took off Storms hands, mixed with wiltons glycerin and VG (50/50) .9ml of 100mg/ml 1ml Wiltons Glycerine 1ml VG 2ml of flavoring mix And just because its something I have to do--I added 2 drops of DV Menthol (cool throat hit) Nice simple mix and tastes good. almost refreshing. I have a tendency to go for fruity or tiramisu/apple pie--This really is a nice change. I wasn't sure about using that much mellow sunset--but made the mix as listed--and it really does work. Thank You Dave

Brian
I tried this, but with a little twist. Instead of cinnamon, I used DV Cinnamint that Burn send me. I took a big ole drag and and instantly began to understand what you menthol smokers are attracted to. The thoat hit just about knocked me over. After I stopped coughing, I vaped it for a while. The cinnimint definitely over powered the Mellow Sunset. I didn't really like it, but may try it again using a much smaller % in the flavor mix (maybe 5-10%).
