Noob Question

Okay, so I have a blucig starter kit coming in the mail,BUT I'm debating whether or not to keep it or send it back. I used to smoke here and there when I was younger, and I've just recently started back up, and this time I want to do the obvious, and go with an ecig to be healthy. I don't smoke heavy, and I don't take long/hard pulls. So my question was with an ecig is it really just like smoking a cigarette, like they say, or is it a must that I have to take a long/hard puff just to get the "throat hit" and the same effect as smoking a cigarette?

e-cigs really do replace smoking for me.

with most of them its a bit of a long gentle draw. It isn't quite the same as smoking--the techniques are a bit different. It really is easy enough, new patterns become normal. I can no longer actually remember (nor want to)-what is was like to smoke.

Personally I recommend the 510 or the Janty Ego. I haven't heard much good about the blu (they might be better these days)......

A 510 or eGo is a much better choice. I'd say go with the eGo because the battery life is so much better. I've heard very little good about the Blu - other than it gave people the idea what it was like to vape. But almost everyone wishes they hadn't spent the money on it.

thanks! i will look more into the 501. Ive heard about the blu having the low user rank, but hearing the complaints the little things that people pay attention to, doesn't really concern me because I'm just trying to get my 'fix' and that's pretty much all i would use it for. but having that said is it still crap even though i would use it lightly??

if you are using it lightly i would still get a 510 kit or an ego. they are great. they are amazing! the 510 was my first kit. i was going to buy the blu cig but i did a weeks worth of research on e-cigs and i decided on the 510 to be the best bet for me cause i wanted something that looked cool and looked like a real cig.

the tornado from totally wicked is, well, wicked.

i would advise getting the mega batteries to go with it.

510 gives great vape and taste, that's what i have as an atomizer.

the ego is the same thing as the tornado. so w/e you like more jump on.

check the warrenty on the blu--can you return it after you have tried it???

the 510's and egos are just an overall better product, but that doesn't mean the Blu won't work for you......

not actually tried the Blu, so I am just going on what I have heard.

Welcome to VT! I would have to agree, you'd get more bang for your buck with a 510 model (510, eGo/Tornado). However, as Kitsune said, that doesn't mean the Blu won't work for you. Since you said you were a light smoker I thought the Blu may be okay for you, but when you specifically mentioned throat hit... not so sure. The 510 has an awesome thoat hit.
