stormchas3r
Just received my bad VP2 from day vape. Which I knew was dead. And was wondering if anyone knew how to take apart the VP2? The switch seems to be shot. I know I could send it to vaprlife. I just want to see if I can fix this myself. Yy
Christopher
I suggest sending it back to Vaprlife BUT if you look right around the button you will see a line that runs around the unit. Two pieces actually unscrew apart, but you'll need a little but of elbow grease to do it.
stormchas3r
Awesome. Ill try that. Thanks Chris.

stormchas3r
Yup I got it. Had to use channel locks with rubber gloves to protect. Found the switch to be bad. Now I have to find a replacement. Home depot or radio shack sell these? Thanks for the help.

stormchas3r
Dang your good Jeff. Yes it is. But aren't these prone to fail? Is there an alternative?
Jeffb
I don't know about prone to fail. I've had my VP/PT since November with that switch and its still going strong.

stormchas3r
holly crap storm you may have given me the courage to try to fix my dad's VP2 Sorry, about the spelling, I was on my blackberry. It wasn't that difficult to take apart. I used gardeners gloves with the rubber coating on the outside. Then channel locked it and twisted, and waaalaaa! Just remember, if you take it apart, it will void the warranty/protection. After taking it apart, I have seen that Jeso really has a quality niche for this. Good Job Vaprlife!
