Anyone have the skinny on the 510 chargers. I got a high speed charger for the egofrom TW - 420ma. I just got my 510 charger from TW, 150ma. I have two other similar chargers and they are 200ma. Is that too much for a 510? Is this just all over the map?

Sorry FT, not a single clue !!!!

All I know is that my Ego instructions say ' may be harmful to other batteries' do not use to charge 510. other than that I am electronically challenged.

I will be interested to know the answer.

Actually you can, get your glasses on if you need them and tell me what the stats are on the charger. Probably on the other side of the cute light. Probably says xV-yV in, 4.23 V out xma or .xa. Could you let me know that the numbers are? I'm pretty sure the amps out are the important part, just don't know what the 200ma (.2A) are all about? Fast charger or slow?

OK--

the 510 charger I got from AZsmokefree input: DC5V Output: DC4.2V

Ego charger - Input: DC5v, 500mA, Output: DC 4.2V 420mA

Totally Wicked 510 charger -- Input: AC 100-240V 50/60 Hz, Output: DC 4.2V, 150mA

Does that help???

That's great, Thanx. But no amps listed on the 510 AZmokefree charger? I still am not sure if the output is 200ma if I can use on 510s...

Plenty but I'm not a big fan of experimenting with electricity.

It shouldn't blow up--(I think), The battery may never work again however.....

I can't believe we dont have any electrical engineers around--

I read 'em, FTJoe. I just can't help you out any. I know nothing about electrical stuff.

Run an extension cord outside and plug it in. See what happens. :)

I'm sure the 200mah will be okay charging the 510s, my bigger concern is is it just a little bit too much and could shorten the life of the 510? I'll do it when I get home, just don't want to hand out the 200mah in a 510 try it kit if its not right.

This thread is AWESOME, Joe upset that nobody reads his post, Kit just says "Chris...." and there Jeff is, 12 minutes later. That just MADE my lunch break!

I Love you, VT!!!
