doxzilla Posted April 10, 2010 Posted April 10, 2010 Juice: Tasty Vapor 24mg Atomic Cinnacide 100% PG Device: Vypr 510 (3.7v device, fresh battery) with 510 cartos from vaporkings.com Flavor: Initially, there's a nice cinnamon taste that graces your tongue but after about five seconds, the burn starts to set in and really caps off the experience. Flavor is reminiscent of Big Red chewing gum or Hot Tamales candy; huge selling point for me. Throat hit & Vapor production: Throat hit is not there at all, but I'm wondering if maybe the burning sensation is overriding it... For me, this is not a negative since I've heard that it's the best cinnamon flavor available. Being that it 100% PG, the vapor that it gives off is pretty light; again, not a big deal since I knew what I was getting in to with 100% PG. Other thoughts: From what I've heard, the juice from tasty vapor gets better with age so I may be coming back to update this if I notice a significant change. Highly recommended for cinnamon candy lovers.
GDub Posted April 10, 2010 Posted April 10, 2010 I've made some DIY juice with cinnamon oil that tasted great, just like hot tamales, but the cinnamon oil would separate from from the base and it had to be shaken all the time. Also I think it deteriorated an atomizer connection on my wife's VP1. I can't really say 100% for sure but just thought I'd throw that out there. So if your juice doesn't separate then I'd imagine you're in the clear, but if it does be careful and just keep an eye on your equipment.
Burn Posted April 18, 2010 Posted April 18, 2010 (edited) I also bought the cinnacide and I have the Loranns cinnamon oil, which I found in the baking/spice section of a grocery store (Kroger). I liked cinnacide but oddly enough, I didn't think that was even strong enough or had a throat kick. I augmented it with a 1:8 mix of cinnamon oil to cinnacide and it is VERY strong now, which was my desired effect. There is now quite a TH kick to it as well. I have not noticed any ATTY problems with any of my cinnamon concoctions but there are so many variables in atty health, who knows? I love it, not as an all day vape but a great change of pace vape. One other thing, Cinnamon seems to really clings to the atty, I put my cinnamon in my "menthol" atty. I would not advise using it in an atty that you use for softer flavors.
