Velius
So I decided through some searching and careful planning on a place to order from, somewhere listed in the distributors approved for here. I decided to go with www.vaporlites.com They had an awesome package deal that was in the budget. So I placed an order and got what I thought was a great deal, with arrival time supposedly 5-10 days at the latest due to customization of the package. I placed my order on the 13. As of today I still hadn't received my order, nor a tracking number. At the time of order I got on with their live help and asked about the shipping if I would get a tracking number, to which they replied yes. I contacted vaporlites support e-mail address and didn't get a reply even when I included my order number. When I placed my order the person responded back to me saying thanks, so after about 14 days I decided to respond back to that person asking what the status of my order was and if I could get my tracking number. I got promised I'd have it come Monday, the tracking number that is, and an update on what happened with my order. Monday rolled around, no e-mail; not even spam e-mail. Tuesday rolled around, nothing from them. So today, Wednesday, I got a hold of their live support and got promised a tracking number later on today. So far I am rather upset with their customer service, especially on the part about promising me something on a specific day and then not following through. Maybe its because I run a business and make promises and keep them that I am such a stickler about it. As for the quality of their product I'll write about that when/if it ever is shipped. From what I know as of now, I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone, in fact I'd probably tell they to stay away. I'll update after the product arrives. GDub
Yeah that's no good. Customer service is the name of the game since the majority of the products sold through these sites are all coming from the same manufacturer. Unless you sell a truly unique and desirable product it's your customer service that will attract and keep customers. Thanks for the heads up. Vacker1229
This is not good, thanks for the info. I had asked if anyone had experience with these guys in the "Review Suppliers" thread. http://www.vaportalk.com/forum/forum/index.php?/topic/4794-vaporlitescom/ I had gotten too busy to place my order, and boy am I glad now!! So maybe they meant 5-10 business days to prepare your package, then 5-10 business days to get around to shipping it, then 5-10 business days to arrivve? Let us know how this goes. snubber
This isn't a good way to keep a customer base. Most of us know that most vendors all get their supplies from the same places, it's just a matter of who wants to give the best price that makes the difference. So if someone places an order and has the kind of service that you have mentioned it really hurts their chances of repeat business. Thanks for the heads-up and let us all know how it turns out. Good Luck!
Brian
Hmmm. I've looked at that site before and got bad "vibes" from it. Glad I never ordered anything.
DPVaporLites
His package and tracking # has been sent, and he has been notified by email. He's welcome to share his opinion of the actual ecig. Ive had a few personal emails written back as thank you's, but no actual posted reviews that I know of. I'm sure lots of sellers have had thank you's from 1st time vapers. Yes there was a problem, but hopefully it has been taken care of.
Velius
I noticed I don't have an *Edit* button on my posts to update them, thus another post when one isn't needed. Mind you I'm not here to rag on the vaporlites; outside the wait and few and infrequent updates I've been really happy with the service. I'll have some experience to compare them to, my buddy ordered his same setup only from totallywicked and had a great time, mind you he spent like 20$ more for the same thing and didn't get a pcc but it arrived in 4 days. One of my other friends ordered a titan 510 and let me use one of his when I was at the shop; which is the whole reason I wanted to switch over to vaping compared to standard cigs. His supplier was pretty reputable as well, although he got a big runaround due to pricing and promotion codes expiring. I truly expect vaporlites to pull through with an amazing product, I don't have doubts about that. One of the reasons I picked them is because of the customization they offered with their starting kit, where as didn't offer that; which is the company my buddy at the shop used. I can't smoke at my job per say, due to hazardous chemicals unless I want to step into the far end of the parking lot. (you have to love OSHA) As far as safety is concerned eni's, or e-cigs, fit the bill rather well. DP did send me a tracking number, and like I told him in the chat on the website that's all I needed for peace of mind. I'm not sure on the whole situation on the shipping, be it back-order or some guy in the warehouse dropping a skid and breaking them all, but that's all I could fault them on. My next post on this will be a full review on the product as a whole, from distribution to reception, like I do for my job.

Or there might be a time limit as well, I dunno...but as soon as a post comes after yours the Edit button goes away. Probably a good thing, in that with enuff edits a whole thread could change direction? LMAO Anyway, yeah, stuff happens. Whether in the warehouse or on the way to your door. I've seen the way those mail people can fling stuff. You gotta pack things like you expect a bomb to drop on em. Looking forward to the review

Velius
Ok my review on this product. I'll start at the start of my experience since the beginning is always a good place to start. The Website and Ordering After doing some price matching and comparison shopping I decided to go with www.vaporlites.com. So I went on their website, which is pretty easy to navigate, It was nothing like totally wicked's website. There was a live chat button on the front page that was hard to miss, which is very handy. The choices were simple, and straight to the point, I liked that. what really got me on there was the customization, you could pick your eni's color, your pcc color, and you got to chose your liquid in your package's type and strength. That isn't something every website offers, normally you have to buy the liquid separately, definitely a boon. Ordering is a cinch, and is secure, which is verifiable by the lock in the right of your browser and the https signature at the address bar. Overall the website was clean, to the point, and very informative. Shipping and Delivery As I ranted at the start shipping was a nightmare, and I believe the mail itself had a huge part to do with it also. My tracking number still shows it leaving IL, as it did when I got my tracking number. It took a total of nearly 3 weeks to arrive, I believe DP said it was due to issues at his end. Delivery is something I need to talk to my post office about, they decided to throw it on my doorstep today, I wasn't pleased about that. Which brings me to my next point, packaging. I think they decided to pack this box so full they could drop it off the empire state building and know it would be safe. It came in a cardboard box, lined with bubblewrap, lined with plastic, followed by more bubblewrap. They actually paid more to ship it than what they charged me as well, nearly one dollar more, I was impressed on that. I've seen many companies ship stuff cheaper than what they charge you, that would upset me to no ends. These guys ship like pro's, and for that I'm grateful, especially after the mailman decided to throw it on my doorstep.
Velius
The Product, Contents, And Eye Candy Inside the massively wrapped packaging stood 4 10 ml bottles of e-liquid (was supposed to come with 3 for my package), two sets of carts, was supposed to only have 1 set, and a nice looking black box. I looked at the liquid and seen DP threw in a camel flavored one, I think he guessed I liked camels by my turkish blend selection. (which was on the money) The two sets of carts I opened to see that they were like what I wanted with my order, black ends, and were sealed carts not empty ones. ( Thought it came with 5 empty ) So I took a look at this box, its a nice looking black box, not cardboard but that leather type of paper covered card stock box. Not bad at all for eye candy. Inside the box was my cables, my chargers, and my pcc. The pcc I thought was going to be cheap plastic like I've seen before with my buddy, I was in for a shock. It was nice form molded plastic with a rubberized coating and rounded corners, easier on the pockets. There was no clasps or buttons on it to open, you simply press under the flap and it pops and swings open. Not that chintzy altoids tin pop but a nice solid and firm sounding pop. Inside it I found both of my manual batteries, an atomizer and 5 more sealed carts. (He gave me 10 for free I see) My other atomizer I found inside the black box, individually wrapped and neat. I pulled out the eni and felt it, the weight and feel was identical to my buddy's titan 510, atomizer didn't look like a cheap piece of junk either, heck it felt really nice. The button has a nice textured rubber press with a semi firm click they you can feel, the button doesn't feel like a cheap flashlight button like off of one of the disposables you can buy. It looked, felt and sounded as good or better than my buddies titan 510, I'm sure when I show him mine he'll envy it. I'm not embarrassed at all to whip this bad boy out and use it as I please, in fact I rather enjoy its unique look.
Velius
Usage and Issues You expect me to badmouth it here because I said "Issues" correct? The only issue I found with it, is that it doesn't magically produce one hundred dollar bills every time I click it. I tried out a cartridge, since it's foil sealed of course you peel the foil off so it doesn't get in the way. Took a nice long drag and was surprised, the smoke was pretty good for a cart, way better than expected. So I tried out my fluid after removing the cart and clearing the atomizer. I should have ordered medium, my god that hit me like a shipwreck. If you smoke reds like I did and you order from them, when they say high they freaking mean it. Felt almost lightheaded using direct dripping, and the vapor was astounding. I thought the cart was good, direct dripping almost quadrupled it. ( And the cart was honestly pretty good for a cart ) Nice thick vapor, I couldn't ask for more. As for my flavors I have an obvious favorite, I'll just have to work in a drag here and there. I will say the flavors of it could be better, it's not near like my buddies rath(sp?) juice stuff he uses. Not saying they flavors are bad I think I made a poor selection in choosing them, I should have diversified a bit more. Cola, Orange, And turkish are all nice; camel too since DP was kind enough to throw that in, but I should have picked a sweeter one.
Velius
In Closing If you want a solid product that both feels good and looks good and is easy on the wallet you can't beat them. Yes, I had some run in with shipping and e-mail, but they were resolved, and like I said earlier a tracking number alone would have made my day. On a scale of 1 to 10, one being poor and 10 being godlike I'd have to say they get a 8.0; would have been closer to 9.0 if communication was a bit better for me. Would I buy from them again, yes I honestly would, and more than likely will do so in the future. Would I recommend them to a friend, yes I would and will. I'm personally going to brag to my buddy who has that titan about them. did they meet my every need, no they didn't, but I doubt they would pay me to get their product and use it so other than that yes. Would I suggest you to buy from them, yes but use their live chat when you make an order and clear up any doubts beforehand. I'm sure that if I had asked if something was on back order I could have figured out the delay in mailing sooner and avoided my unneeded frustration. To the People at Vaporlites You have a great package and product; and for that I thank you. Maybe consider making the second atomizer the same color as the first (my second one was black and first matched my eni but no worries I like the change up ) Sorry multiple posts it wouldn't let me post it as one huge post. Vacker1229
Wow!! Fabulous review Velius, given your thoughts I will be sure to follow through with an order from VaporLites. I will also remain aware of shipping delays. Although it is always difficult to not stamp my feet like a child when awaiting my goodies to come. A follow up report would be good if you have any issues in the next couple of weeks of useage. Thanks again

No problems what so ever, in fact it seems like its just now starting to get better. I've noticed the batteries last about 1.5-2 hours on heavy usage. I really should get a pass through, if they offered one I'd give it a shot I believe. I'll give an additional review in a few weeks to report any changes. I will say this was the life of the party last night, I sent a few people some links to the website.

Velius
54 day in review. As you can tell I've gone 54 days into vaping strictly. My final review on vaporlites is this. The pcc is awesome looking, works well but I believe the damage it took during combat helped it break a bit. No harm no foul there, I believe its my doing that broke it. the other day my first battery in my kid died. It holds a charge but no matter what i do it won't kick an addy off. Each addy I have was tried to no success, but I tried on my other battery and it worked. Needless to say the second battery kicked off today and is doing the same thing the previous one is doing. :/ Maybe its because I use these constantly every day. Regardless I'd check out their website but its down currently. So I'm stuck :/

Velius
Have you ordered batteries somewhere else, Velius? Yea I just got them in today. I ordered some mega batteries from electronicstix. They shipped out Saturday and arrived today (Tuesday) which is really impressive considering the holiday weekend. I'll post a review on them later on, I would have contacted vaporlites for new batteries if their website wasn't down. It is up today but that wouldn't have done me well. I can say from this whole experience, I really don't like cigs. I had 2 packs last me 6 days, that's how much I don't like them any more. From someone who smoked about 2 packs a day they just didn't cut it after I started getting serious into vaping.
