Jaysee
howdy all, well i just started vapeing.I purchased A cheap ecig from a tobacco store, its called the choice ecig...seeing that it is the only ecig ive ever used i cant really compare it to others except to say that compared to all the review videos ive watched,my ecig suks.im going to get the spade for home and the joye 510 for outnabout. All the bells n whistles.Ok here is my question, this ecig i have is giving the nic i need and all but when i use it, my throat becomes sore and kind of feels swolen or something for about 5 hours afterward.Anyone know about or get this with any of your good ecigs.Lots more questions to come im sertin.Till next time
mcquinn
Could be you are one of the unfortunate who is allergic to PG,but most most likely you just need to drink more water and perhaps cut back a little on the vaping. It is easy to just sit and puff and most of us do it without thinking. joe2003
Hi and welcome to Vapor Talk, I don't know what a "choice" e-cig is so I'll ask if you drained the atty before use? The primer fluid these things come from the factory with is kinda RANK !! If it isn't the primer fluid then I would suspect the juice.Do you use prefilled carts or are you using e-juice to fill carts or drip? Some folks have reported similar problems using PG juice,it's kind of an allergic reaction. VG can also cause this in a lesser # of people. You may have to experiment with different juice blends to see what works for you. Check for vendors that offer 3 or 5 ml samples so you can find what works best for you with out to much wasted.Even better if you have friends or family to share with, then yall can trade up O.K. we're hunkered down waitin fer incoming,go ahead and toss some more Q's. Lotsa great folks around here so prepare for a bunch of good A's in return
joe2003
OOOPS Forgot to mention drinking plenty of fluid (Thanks Mcquinn) Definitely try that 1st it could be the best solution (probly why I missed it)
Christopher
Sounds like the simple answer is just to make sure your drinking enough fluids. Those allergic to PG tend to have stomach issues. PG as well as nicotine will dry out your mouth. So be sure to drink while vaping (healthy drinks of course) and this should help the problem. Jaysee
thought this may help too..on the box that the carts for this thing came it has a little black sticker that reads MLB.HIG don't know what that means but im shure i should find out
Brian
MLB.HIG is the flavor and strength. MLB means Marlboro flavor (although it's not really) and HIG is High strength nicotine. High on these is usually 24mg. I would say the sore throat is just a noobie things and will go away with regular use. However, you know your boby better than anyone, so you'll have to make that call. I got a little sore throat when I first started vaping, but it went away after a few days. I use PG 99% of the time, but if I switch to VG I get a sore throat. Again, if I use the VG for a few days, the sore throat goes away.

Jaysee
I think you guys where right, drinking some water while vaping seems to be helping the throat.Tnks brian for the info i always smoked light analogs so i would say that high nic juice/carts are too much for me.When i start buying all my real vapeing equipment ill make sure to get some different lvl juices to try them out. I'm waiting to buy my Spade,pass-through,n such from the VT store (just cause i love this forum and want to support the place)and also the led on the pass-through look awesome from the videos Ive seen.Does it come in purple?
