Brian Posted March 21, 2010 Posted March 21, 2010 Welcome! If you're just looking into starting, I would check out the FAQ vids at the link below. They will give you a lot of info and a general understanding of ecigs. It'll also help you formulate questions and better understand some of the answer you may get. The vids "noob" and "noob2" provide a really good into to ecigs and a lot of the terminology you'll hear. FAQ Vids

sensay Posted March 22, 2010 Posted March 22, 2010 Hello Peach, I think the best advice I have gotten is just to enjoy vaping and not to stress out too much about the rest. Soon you will prefer the vaping to the analog cigarettes. As soon as I stopped stressing out over making the change it came easily! sensay 1
eatapeach Posted May 2, 2010 Author Posted May 2, 2010 Hi Peach, welcome to Vapor Talk. If you could provide more information that would be great. Have you started vaping? If so, what kind of device do you have? Moved to Noobie Questions & Help I got a taste of vaping with a throwaway unit my son bought in the fall of 2009. Expensive to say the least. Results with it were not all that great, but I did smoke less while trying it out. I googled ecigs, found this site which led me to awesomevapors.com and the DSE901 Mini ecig. I haven't smoked tobacco since December of '09. Please forgive my late response, there is so much drama nowadays that seems to get in the way of our best intentions. I appreciate the welcome from all you members and this forum has much useful info and videos. Thanks, Tony
Brian Posted May 2, 2010 Posted May 2, 2010 Congrats Tony! Thanks for the follow up - always good to hear success stories.

Silver bullet from http://www.altsmoke.com , Atomizer 510 from http://www.h2osmoking.com , Driptips from http://www.nhaler.com , and some CR123 batteries from http://www.batteryjunction.com . ddavelarsen Posted May 9, 2010 Posted May 9, 2010 Silver bullet from http://www.altsmoke.com , Atomizer 510 from http://www.h2osmoking.com , Driptips from http://www.nhaler.com , and some CR123 batteries from http://www.batteryjunction.com . This will give you a great vaping experience. Only thing I'd add to this is to be sure to always buy protected batteries only! The protected version of CR123 is RCR123a. Again, only buy protected batteries! Some mods are beginning to be built with protection built into the device, but that is rarely the case at this time. eBay and Amazon are good places to look for battery kits too; you'll want a charger for the batteries you buy. I use Tenergy batts; they're a US company with (presumably) better controls on Chinese manufacturing.
