Brian
Chris - any reason not to use the enercell with the PT. This enercell with this adapter. This would give you the option of 3, 5, 6, 6.5, 7 and 7.5V on the VP/PT. I know you're not big on going over 5V, but a lot of people seem interested in at least trying it. Personally, I find myself using my 3.7 units more than my PT now days. However, thought this may be a good option for trying the higher volts without buying another unit. Could this damage the PT? Thanks!
Christopher
I'm going to let Jeso answer this one, I'll shot him an email and ask him to respond
VAPRLIFE
Hi, Thar power pack seems like a nice device BUT IT SHOULD NOT BE USED WITH THE VP-PT ! The reason are the led's and circuit is set up for 5.5 volt that comes off the supplied power pack. If a higher voltage is used the led's may burn out and the amount of current (power) would rise and potentially damage the unit. I hope this answered your question Best Regards Jeso
Brian
Thanks Jesso! Thought it best to ask before trying in this case.
ddavelarsen
Thanks Brian, I think a lot of us would have wondered the same thing and possibly tried it without asking about consequences first. Thanks Jeso and Chris for following up, too.
