Another theory of the "ban e-cigs" movement. But personally, I think it's all about the money. Here's the link

I work with similar moralistic people. These folks think that no one should have any vices, and they feel not only compelled to enforce that view, but righteous in it. In my mind, we have this wonderful necrologic system that not only lets us believe in God but also to seek out mind-bending substances. We've been doing that for 200,000 years - no one's gonna stop it now! :)

Isn't it amazing how the liberals are the ones that want to take away our rights? By the very definition of the word, it would denote the freedom of thought and action for all. Yet they are the very ones that seek to involve themselve socialistically in everyones lives. Jerry Brown is a great example. Degree in Classics from Berkley in the 60's? Can you say drug head? Yet now this bozo wants to take away our freedom to have e-cigs! Unbelievable!

Yeah, I think this is an issue that goes beyond anyone's political philosophy; the coworkers I'm thinking of are certainly the antithesis of liberal... I tend to think the whole naysayer mentality is driven by one of two things: a desire to control others, or money. The control part is fueled by a personal certainty of superiority. (Well, maybe that is a political philosophy -- but it covers the spectrum, from left to right... ;))

And Brown is in the money pocket, no doubt about it.

I agree that the leaders of the Anti-Smoking Movement are just in it for the money but I believe the followers are in it because of their prejudices. They see themselves as superior to smokers/vapers. They want everyone to say,"Heil Hitler!" and be like them.

I'm with you on that one. It's $$$. And a nic free world. What's next?

I have to agree with you on this. If they band nicotine then they might try caffeine. And how would that effect them? I am sure they sit around drinking coffee talking about how bad smokers are. Or at least start there day off with a cup or more of coffee to start there day off.
