BofA are one of the worst abusers of human dignity in general, and I don't care how much more likely hightened foreclosures makes mistakes like this, any bank that mistakenly drags a human being though something like this should be hurt, publicly and fiscally. A steady diet of this kind of news would make anyone dour. Even me. (Hard to believe! But true.) I think I'll go read the Onion or something for a while... Place where I picked it up suggested exactly that, the people going in are at serious risk for getting a snootful of shot or worse.
