Hey VT friends I wanted your opinion as to the next level progression of mods and the Ultimate vape which is I'm assuming the 5,6 volt vape hit mods out there I have a 510 the 520 batts and HV atty's I recently got and love them btw I enjoy my PT and my vaping as been fun but now I want something that is

!. safe in the issues of batteries and that they can go for long periods of time

2.in cost effectiveness its a durable product that isn't going to defect blow up or break in less than six months and it can handle a drop or two to the ground

3. one that will totally work with all 510 atty's and is a great user friendly unit and isn't a huge bulky PV

4.and I guess the most important is going to be worth spending the one hundred plus dollars on and know I got my monies worth when I take that every Vape.

Thanks look forward to reading responses

Hmmm, could be a tall order. I'm not sure, but I don't think there are a lot of us here that have even been vaping for 6 months, so number 2 might be a hard one for most of us to answer. I don't even know of any of the units that have been around for 6 months. But maybe someone can answer your question.

As with anything in life you can't have good and cheap. You pretty much get what you pay for. It may be a little biased but you really can't go wrong with the VP units from Vaprlife. :) I'll let other members chime in on this though

I have to agree with chris. The VP line is pretty amazing.

I love my VP-passthrough, not sure if you are looking at going the PT route or not, but if you do--the VP is perfect, came with 510 adapter, consistent throat hit and vapor. I have had mine since November and it has been perfect !!! Even use it in my Jeep, got the USB/car adapter from the VT store.

Happy vaping

We are in the same boat. I'm looking for a good HV mod that's portable and has good battery life. I picked up an Xhaler 6V used from one of the members here and have been somewhat disappointed with the thing. Short battery life, horrible button, and heavy as heck! It does work good, though.

I'm waiting on the Joker to come out since it looks like a jam up device. You might look at the Chuck, too. It looks pretty sturdy.

If you are looking for high quality (and sadly a high price) you should give the Super Six from Super T Manufacturing a serious look - I doubt there is a more carefully designed and well made device available...

Hey thanks for the responses that have come in so far and Chris your input is just as valued as anyones without your reviews I wouldn't be here healthy and vaping , it wasn't so much about the getting a 5v as in learning okay you got your starter kit now time to put down the starter and go to the next level of being a vapor is one that is an everyday and then falls back to my list ofs' so thanks guys I appreciate your views and inputs its well valued

I think Janty eGO fits some of your points with it being smaller with longer battery life. I haven't dropped mine a ton but its taken its fair share of falls. It works with the 510 atomizer. The VP units are built solid but are a little bit larger.

I've been thinking along these lines myself Angel and have kind of settled on either the Chuck or Silver Bullet, but Prof's recommendation of the Super Six sounds good too. These are all units that have been around a while and had their bugs worked out.

I like the big buttons on the Bullet and Super Six, and they're both nice and shiny. ;) Chuck comes in all kinds of colors or custom paint jobs. It can switch between 3.7 and 6V, which might come in handy some day, particularly depending how a particular juice behaves (some people have said they've experienced better flavor/vapor at various voltages with some juice, but getting actual data on that is ... difficult).

Price? Well, like Chris said you get what you pay for. If the unit you buy does end up lasting years, it'll be cheap overall. That's what I want to, a PV that I can vape year after year. I don't feel the need (normally) to have the latest and greatest of anyting; I'd much rather have the best of something and just keep it... That's how I feel about my VP2 - it's going to be with me for a very long time. thumbup.gif That is money well spent.

Good luck, and keep us posted what you decide on! I'm excited for you. Wish it were me! ;)

Where can a person go to look at the Silver Bullet and the Super Six? I think I've seen the Chuck, but will have to check my bookmarks to be sure. I remember seeing a video review of the Silver Bullet once, but I think that's the only time I've ever seen it. I'm not even sure now where I saw the review. I don't know that I'm in the market for any of these models, but do want to keep my options open. I ordered some of the mega 510 batteries to try and thanks to jmhester's advice and great find, I ordered the DSE905 (with an adapter for a 510 atty) to try it. Also to have backups.

The Silver Bullet is at atlsmoke.com. Not sure about the Super Six. Not heard of it before.

Super Six at supertmannfacturing.com. :)

Okay...I bookmarked that one, too. But, um, didn't you just say you hadn't heard of that one? LOL Thanks again. I appreciate it.

Yes I did, but when I looked back at prof's post and saw SuperT I said to myself: "DUH!" I had heard of it, and looked at it before, just forgot. I had looked at it when looking at the brass tips a while back. Very expensive. If I was going to spend that much I'd have to seriously consider the GG also.

I'm kinda new to all this, but from everything I've heard the vp line is pretty good choice.

I do agree with prof..the super six looks like something you might want to take a closer look at, kinda pricy tho at $150.00.

For future reference, there's this great new web site where you can do searches and stuff and find almost anything you're looking for. It's called Google, and the URL is http://www.Google.com. :dribble:

I already have the VP line. Well, 3 of them. But I keep looking. I love the VP/PT, but it's not portable enough for me. I love my VP2, but it doesn't work to carry around in my pocket. I don't know that I will get anything else, but don't mind trying different things, too. I'm not out to buy something right now, but want to see what's out there and stay on top of all the new things, too. I agree $150. is very pricey and I wouldn't jump right in and buy one, but like Christopher says a lot, you get what you pay for. So maybe this one is just that good. I don't know, but might do a little research on it.

:rolleyes2: Okay, you got me. I do use Google all the time, but sometimes when I'm posting here, I just ask. I've gotten so used to all the ecig answers being right here.

What is this google thing you speak of? I've always heard things like "google is your friend", same thing? Sounds VERY interesting.

It's great! And some of my search results actually come back with no porn in them! :innocent:

I tried Bling and I think Microsoft should stick to trying to make a good affordable operating system and forget about Apple they are less of a threat than what Microsoft has been doing the last four times.
