jmhester Posted January 26, 2010 Posted January 26, 2010 I just had to pass this on. MadVapes is running the DSE905 on sale for $39.99! I paid $59.99 for mine and thought it was a steal. I've seen them for as much as $99. It's a pretty nice device, too. Here's the link

So could you tell me a little more about yours? I don't know much about it. I'm working on an order with MadVapes right now, so it would be a good time. Thanks for the headsup jm.
TeriJo Posted January 26, 2010 Posted January 26, 2010 For that price does it come with a battery? I don't see it on the description.. I THINK the dse905 IS a battery....but in package contents.... 6 Month Warranty on Battery Body/Switch so if there's a battery warrantee i think that means the black matte body is the battery.... someone correct me if need be.....you'll enjoy correcting me ....I'm very correctable.... or ..... something
jmhester Posted January 26, 2010 Author Posted January 26, 2010 It did say it didn't come with a battery or charger. It uses the 14500 battery and he's selling them for $4.79. That's a very good price and it's a "protected" battery with 900mah. He's also selling a great little charger for $4.99. So when you add it all up it's still only around $60 for the set. I personally love mine. It's reliable, vapes good, is pretty light weight, and feels good in your hand. I love the on/off switch on the bottom so you can drop it in your pocket without fear of smoking an atty. Plus, one charge lasts all day even for a heavy vapor like me. The only downside is I don't like the 901 atty so I bought an adapter. Listen, for that price, I would buy it in a heartbeat. Check out my video review in the video section for more info.

Well, I thought I'd seen all of your video review's, but maybe I missed one. I will watch it. I already have several of those batteries for my VP2, so I'm covered there. Along with the charger. I went and looked at the site and saw he had the adapters, so I'd get one of those, too. Probably for the 510, but maybe one for the 801, too. Just to cover my bases. I'm placing an order anyway and might as well get it all at once. And I think I will get one. Thanks again, jm. It's appreciated.
Brian Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 I ordered 4 of those batteries along with the parts to build some mods. Mark @ madvapes was very helpful and responded to my emails very fast, so if you have any questions about anything on his site, just shoot him an email.
jmhester Posted January 27, 2010 Author Posted January 27, 2010 nana you are really going to like the dse905. It's a great backup for the VP2. Plus, you can bore it out and make a 6v unit out of it. I'll be doing that this week and I'll post up a video on how to do it. I think a Dremel tool should do the trick.

I was just getting ready to ask you if you'd done the 6v thing yet. I'd really like to try that, too. We've got a Dremel and all the parts to it, so we should be able to do it. I'll be anxiously awaiting your video.

I have been thinking about upgrading for the longer battery life, and this comes at a great time. I was kind of waiting for the Joker, and will probably still get one when it becomes available, but this will address my needs in the short term. I ordered the 905, a 510 adapter and batteries and charger for a little over $60. That is indeed a great price. Edited January 27, 2010 by Lee
