Instead of running the ball and trying the field goal we decide to throw and Favre gives away the season. I think in the off season they should work on not fumbling. When he came here though it was a different story. I'm one of the most pessimistic jet fans out there, but I feel pretty good we should still be at least exciting next year (we never get our hopes up). Some of our WR's wouldn't have shined as much as they did without him but I don't think another quarter back short of a top 10 QB can bring out the talent these guys showed. Tavaris certainly won't be able to. I was surprised with the Jets this season, they played great and Sanchez looks to have a bright future. You don't want an opinion of Favre from a Jet fan, but I agree with you. Think he'll retire long enough to miss camp again this year? I was always a believer in defenses being the key to winning. I was psyched the Jets had the best...beef up other areas, keep the defense good and we should be back in the playoffs. But they are the Jets...
