Brian
Wierdest thing. My wife got a box of chocolates, ate all the ones she likes, and gave the leftovers to me. It's a box of assorted creams... I'm a chocolate and nuts guy myself, but there's not much in the way of chocolate that I'll turn down. So anyhow, I ate two chocolate truffles and then got hit with a wicked urge for an analog. It passed pretty fast, but good grief, I swear it was a sensation that I felt through my whole body... very stong. It's the first time I've had an urge like that since I started vaping. Don't know if it was the choc that triggered it, but it sure seemed that way. Anyhow, was wondering if anyone else has anthing that triggers that feeling for them? I always thought it would be drinking coffee, but that's not been a problem. Then I thought it would be drinking. I don't drink very often, but did have some over the holidays and wasn't a problem. BirdDog
I had Wendy's for lunch today. About half way through my food I had the biggest urge for a analog. Maybe it is a junk food thing.
Christopher
That's probably because chocolate hits the same receptors a cigarette will hit. Although I have not run into this issue I could see how this came about. Did you make it through? That's probably the most important thing, as soon as you get that urge hit your favorite ecig and get that urge under control!

nana
I can honestly say that there has been nothing - and I mean absolutely nothing - that has in any way, shape or form, made me nor triggered an urge in me, to want an analog. My highest hopes are that it never, ever happens.

My highest hopes are that it never, ever happens. Me either, I kind of find that weird as it's all I thought about when trying other ways to quit. Can't say it enough, take care of both addictions with a safer alternative, and all that's left is habit. I think Christopher is on to something, must be a physical thing with the brain for Brian. Brian, brain, Brain, brian...whoa dude...sorry, got sidetracked there for a minute.

If I smelled someone else smoking, I'd try to breathe in really deep, trying to get just a bit of smoke. This was the only thing I ever did that I didn't crave analogs. It's great!!! Jeffb
My trigger has been my morning coffee. The first cig of the day with coffee has always been my favorite. That desire has pretty much gone away. I've replaced my analog with Dulcis in the AM
Christopher
Yea coffee used to trigger for me as well. But not in a long time. I can drink coffee without vaping now! Now that's good
Schizophretard
For me it is the ritual times, waking up, turning the car key, after diner, after sex, before bed.... It is mostly all timing. The rest is when my e-cig doesn't function the way I want. If my atty gets clogged and I'm having a craving then I'll light one up. This happens a lot when driving.
