DAYVAPE
Well not too much today... but I did get the two "T-Tips" that I had ordered from Super T Manufacturing. I got one for my 801 and one for the 510. For the most part I really like em! Once you put it on you don't have to worry about taking the cart off to drip... you can just drip right thru the hole in it. The only downside is that it is a piece of brass in your mouth... not the most pleasant thing to suck on I suppose. Overall... I will live with that for the simple fact that I can now drip directly thru it and not have to worry about carts/tips anymore.
Lordvapor
I have been curious about those t-tips... What keeps you from getting a mouth full of liquid? And then theres that metal in the mouth thing.... I just dont know

And then theres that metal in the mouth thing.... I just dont know It's a giant hole in them... and I've yet to get the dreaded "liquid lips". I really don't know what keeps it from happening... luckily I had already learned not to suck these e-cigs like a normal analog. Only time will tell if they keep working . mcquinn
If a person had a mini lathe I suppose they could make tips from nylon or something a little less objectionable.
ddavelarsen
I suspect there might be a little more friction or surface tension with nylon or other plastic than brass. I'd guess that why they use brass rather than something else. Brass is also a little easier to finish than plastic, which might equally be the reason. That said, there's just no way I could use a round metal tip on my e cig just because I vape so heavily when I'm driving - and our roads are not by any stretch flat around here. I'd have bleeding gums and a fat lip before I got to the grocery store. But it would sure be nice not to have to pull the tip off all the time, for example when you've just come out of the grocery store and been pushing a public cart around. I keep some small napkins in my car for vaping cleanups and for guarding against disease on the tip. But for me, the only tip that works is one I can hold between my teeth when I'm driving. I'm glad it's working for you DAYVAPE, it's the first I've heard from someone who uses them. Thanks for the update.
mcquinn
I think that is why the wise old Chinaman that invented these things made carts for use when dripping is not practical.I get pretty good vapor from 302 carts on a low bridge atty. And I assume you don't modify your carts at all, correct? I've never used a cart from the factory that was any good wicking juice! I've been using the PTB mod lately, when I need a cart, and I nearly use every drop from them with it. And that is in either my 510 or 801 carts... but I mostly drip if I can. Acroma
Yesterday I got 2 juices and two attys... One atty was DoA so Randall at myPVshop is sending me another free of charge and without having to ship back the dead one. Altho he did have me hang onto it in case I did need to send it back. Christopher
The T Tips do work very well. I have a couple here at the office.
DAYVAPE
The T Tips do work very well. I have a couple here at the office. I just wish that the 510 one was a little shorter like the 801 is. It's harder to drip into than the 801 because of its height. I find I sometimes drip and it hits inside the mouthpiece... then your left with juice right there. Oh well... nothing is perfect in the vaping world yet. Maybe over time we they will get everything figured out so that there aren't little issues like that. I still like using them at times.
