jnnfrlsw
I am looking into ordering one of the 510 megabatteries from Eastmall for 19.95. How does this compare to the other batty mods like the spade, the chuck, screwdriver or V1. I know the spade and v1 are much bulkier than the 510 mega batty. Also, there is the 20$ compared to the 99$ on the spade. Don't they all accomplish the same thing-extend batty life before charging.-just one is more affordable? The batts that came with my 510 are only lasting 60-90 min. between charges and I want more time. Also considering a passthru to save batt downtime. Any suggestions? nana
My 510 batteries only last 60 to 90 minutes, too. That's why I started looking into something different. I am going to buy some mega batteries. I've been waiting for Wordupecig to get them back in and now I see they're in, so I'll order them. He sells them for $15. He did have 10% off and that would have been even better, but now that they are stocked, it looks like that special is off. But the price is still good. I've never had any, but have heard they last 3 to 4 hours and that sounds pretty good to me. And yes, that's all they do - extend battery life. Mega's last longer than regulars. The Spade is a mod for the 510 and uses a different kind of battery that is supposed to last longer. But basically it's just a battery for a 510 atty. I have a 510 passthrough, too. I have used it quite a bit at the computer and it's great. You can vape for as long as you want and not have to worry about battery life. And you can save those battery's for times you can't be at your computer. I have an adapter to use the 510 in the car, too. I like it that way, too. skruff77
i have mega batteries too. i love using them. but this i got the eGo and that last for about 10-12 hours (or longer if you use a passthrough too). but the mega are great because they are cheap. the do burn at a lower voltage but that ok it still does the samething. Lee
Just for the sake of clarity, the 510 mega is just a battery with a larger capacity than the standard 510 battery. It is not a mod. The Spade and other mods are designed to make use of high capacity, rechargeable batteries. In most cases, the mods also operate at a higher voltage than the "normal" batteries, including the 510 mega. The voltage of the mods runs 5-6 volts, where the regular batteries operate at around 3.5 volts.
DAYVAPE
Hi jnnfrlsw, Jason over at electronicstix.com has the mega batts for $17.95. I am getting 3-4 hours from my mega batts. I like them alot. I have the 510 passthrough for my car which works great. I can't wait to use my 510 passthru in my car!! I just got it today... along with my 510, and this thing just simply rocks. I already have a 801 but it doesn't seem to hang with this 510. I'm currently using my 510 atty with my 801 manual battery, by way of the adapter that came with my VPPT, and everything is wonderful. I'll be curious as to how long my battery lasts this way.
