samurainigel Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 I bought the Crown 7 Hydro last year and it was fine for a long time, but I've had issues with it. The plus side is that I stopped smoking regular cigarettes altogether, and since I've been having trouble with my Hydro, I've been smoking almost none of that either. I guess that's good, right? So my beef here is that while the system is really nice (good charger, nice, long-lasting batteries, easy to replace cartridges, etc.) I do have some small issues with it. The biggest issue I have is that the cartridges I buy from Crown 7 brand new seem to be awesome. They last quite a while, they have great throat hit, they have huge puffs of vapor, all that is dandy. Then I go to refill them with a couple of different kinds of juice and they're absolutely terrible. Poor throat hit, small vapor, many inhalations seem to just pull juice and don't vaporize properly, leading to sucking a big gush of juice into my mouth. So what gives? I'm really not sure what I'm doing wrong here. Should I get another model? Is stuff like this normal? Thanks in advance!
ls1 Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 I purchased a crown 7 hydro about a month ago and noticed the same problem. Not to mention 1 out of 10 hits I seemed to get juice in my mouth  even if it was a new cart. I just recently gave it to my friend. I ordered a new pv within 2 weeks of receiving my hydro and would not turn back to the hydro since. I did email crown 7 about when they would get blank carts and they said it would be in the near future so that may be your only hope to drip with it. I would suggest a vp pt if you are near a laptop or outlet a lot as it needs to be plugged in. If your intrested in something for on the go I would recommend a spade or wait for the joker to come out. I just got a spade for my gf for her birthday and she loves it! Hope this helps. I do own all 3 of these units by the way and the vp pt is my hands down favorite but, that is expected at 5v.
