Jujuko2
Can I use a 60w coil on a 50w mag baby and do I have to change the settings because it’s starting to taste burnt .
Tam
What do you mean by a 60w coil? What's the resistance of it? In any case, yes, turn down the heat settings if you experience a burnt flavor, although you might have already burnt the wick. If you turn down your setting and still taste something burnt, then change your coil to a new one, prime, wait several minutes and start lower this time. FXRich
20w-30w should be good for a .5 ohm coil. I build my coils in the .7-.8 range and use 16-20 watts. The juice you use also affects the wattage, some juices need a lower wattage and some need a higher wattage. The wattage printed on the coil should be largely ignored, coil manufacturers make money by selling coils, and the more coils that are burned because of high watts, the more coils they sell.
