timwis
Hi Vapor Talk members, In this e-liquid review i try 5 flavours from Firehouse Vape. The 5 flavours were supplied for the purpose of this review by Amanda from Firehouse Vape. Introduction Firehouse Vape are a family run business (always the best in my opinion) started by Mark who yes you guessed it is an ex-firefighter hence the firefighting themed titles of their e-liquids. They are based in Darwen in the heart of Lancashire, the UK. Firehouse offer their flavours in 10ml bottles with a freebase nic strength of either 3mg, 6mg or 12mg. They also do a 10ml Nic salts range in either 10mg or 20mg as well as their shortfill range that have 50ml of e-liquid in a 60ml Gorilla bottle allowing for a nic shot (which they also sell) to be added to give a strength of 3mg. Finally some flavours are also available as concentrates in 30ml bottles and there is also merchandise available! All their short fill range are a ratio of 30PG/70VG while their other ranges differ in ratios dependant on flavour. ___________________________________________________________________ Shortfill Range In this review i will be looking at their short fill range which consists of the following 13 flavours: Red Watch The Probationer Pink Pyro Ice Pink Pyro Lemon Blast 999 Blue Watch Blues and Twos Forest Fire Green Watch Old Smoke The Axe White Watch ___________________________________________________________________ What I Received? I received the following 50ml shortfills: 999 Pink Pyro Red Watch Pink Pyro Ice Probationer ___________________________________________________________________ Testing Equipment I added a nic shot to each flavour making them all 60ml at 3mg strength and left a week to steep before testing. I tested all flavours on 2 identical set-ups to keep consistent testing conditions. Set-up 1 = Axial Pro RDA on top of the Ultroner Aether BF device with a pair of 0.30hm SS Alien Claptons on the serial deck giving a build resistance of 0.62ohm. I tested all flavours at 55W. Set-up 2 = Ni 0.2ohm ADA on the SX Auto ESS Driver device. The device was set-up on preset 3 which gives between 30-35W. The cotton used on the Axial Pro RDA was Vapefly Firebolt. The pictures are of the equipment used but not at the time of testing! ___________________________________________________________________ My Experience Using The Flavours 999 The Aroma of the opened bottle is one of Vanilla and the sought of Mint aroma you get from Mint Ice Cream. This flavour is a new one on me, a Mint Custard which is so smooth and creamy i could vape this all day. The inhale, exhale and aftertaste is very consistent and it's just so well blended with the Vanilla and Mint just complimenting each other without trying to dominate. I myself don't really notice the aroma being created while vaping but my wife really loved me vaping this one she said it smelled absolutely gorgeous! SCORE: 9.25/10 ___________________________________________________________________ Pink Pyro The aroma of the opened bottle is very punchy and just bursting with fruits. With this flavour there is no holding back the flavour is very strong and punchy and packed with mixed summer fruits which merge for the most part on the inhale but the Exhale see's different flavours dancing into focus and becoming identifiable. Blackberry, Raspberry, Red and Blackcurrants are all present making this a fruity mix of sweetness and tang, very nice! The aftertaste is a mouthful of summer fruits! SCORE: 8.75/10 ___________________________________________________________________ Red Watch On opening the bottle the aroma is one of a sweet soft Strawberry Candy. This flavour is Strawberry Laces and very authentic in taste but gave me a surprise on the exhale and aftertaste. The Inhale as described is very Sweet Strawberry Candy just like Strawberry Laces but as i get to the exhale a bit of sour Fizz hits my tongue. The aftertaste unlike the Sweet strawberry of the inhale see's a sour Strawberry lingering but in a nice way! SCORE: 9/10 ___________________________________________________________________ Pink Pyro Ice This flavour is easy to describe as it has all the characteristics of the original Pink Pyro with coolant added. This makes this flavour even more refreshing than the already refreshing Pink Pyro, a real summer fruits iced refreshing vape. I can see many enjoying this vape especially on a hot Summers day but not being a big fan of coolant i prefer the original Pink Pyro! SCORE: 8/10 ___________________________________________________________________ Probationer The aroma from the opened bottle is one of cream with Vanilla in the background. This e-liquid is a simple Vanilla Custard but i really like it as it's one of the best custards i have tried to date. It's quite sweet leaving a pleasant aftertaste and both inhale and exhale are very consistent. The custard is very creamy and has none of that artificial Waxy taste that some custard flavours have and also the Vanilla isn't overdone which i find is usually the case with plain vanilla custards. A cracking custard flavour! SCORE: 9.5/10 ___________________________________________________________________ Conclusion Flavours from smaller manufacturers with only a few flavours never seem to let me down and absolutely no exception here. A really nice selection of flavours with just the coolant in Pink Pyro Ice not to my liking but all the other flavours were superb with my picks being Probationer and 999. I would once again like to thank Amanda from Firehouse Vape for supplying the 5 flavours for the purpose of this review. ___________________________________________________________________
