So I got some glycerin and some flavoring and some empty 15 ml bottles.I can find all kinds of recipes and info on how to get a certain nic strength. How much flavoring would you put in a 15 ml bottle to get a rather strong flavor liquid?I also have a bunch of 18mg 3 ml samples you get free from Awesome vapor for buying 15 ml bottles of juice ,I might add some of that for nic .I am using 6 mg liquid now and hope to go nic free in the next month or so.

I'm in this one with you, McQuinn. I've been using the 12mg liquid from Tasty Vapor and using the same flavor of their doublers to get the nic level down to 6mg. I'm doing great with that and so started experimenting with going to 3mg. I seem to doing okay with that, too. If I get edgy at all, I go back to the 6mg and I'm fine. But that's the easy way to do it.

I'm thinking I'll be able to get down to 0 very soon, but haven't set a date to do it by. So, I've started experimenting with flavors on mine own. I really don't have any answers for you yet. I have some VG and several Lorann's flavors, but haven't come up with something really great yet. What I've done seems a bit too thick, so I'm going to order some PG to thin the mixture down with.

So far, it does seem like I have to use a lot of flavor, but then I'm still having trouble tasting the ejuices.

I'd recommend starting with 10 to 15 drops of flavoring in 10 ml of mixed juice (base + VG and/or PG). I don't know if this will be strong enough for you, but it's much easier to add more. The alternative can result in large batches of juice that you might not even like, because there's no way to take flavor out! Also, if you do decide to add more flavor, sneak up on it. Add a couple drops at a time. Even if you think the first few puffs are no where near strong enough, take your time. The flavor can change very quickly. Trust me, I've learned some of this the hard way!

I don't mix that big of batches to begin with. I start with 3ml and add drops of flavor to that. Just in case I hate something, I don't want to throw it out. Little batches aren't as hard to throw out. But so far I haven't thrown any out. I doubt I'd get to the point of having it too strong, but you never know.

I have to agree with Nana--start with smaller batches until you get the flavor you want.

I usually start with a 1 ml syringe--the flavor concentrations depends on the brand of flavoring and the user.

I seem to also need lots of flavor--for most flavors I use about .1-.2 ml of flavor to 1 ml. (3-6 drops of flavor to 1ml of liquid)

Once I have the flavor right I just adjust to 5ml bottles--I never mix more than 5mls at a time--I really do like to change flavors frequently.
