safe build mech mod with 21700 single battery

Depends on what the specs of the battery are. Not enough info to even begin to answer your question.

i have ijoy 20700 3.7v 3000mah 40a (mooch tested it 30a).. i want to put a build on a single coil rda..

your battery fully charged will put out 4.2V at 30A you can have a 0.14 coil. 3.7 is the nominal voltage the less the charge the lower the volts, the more it is charged the more the volts. You should build to the highest volts.

so.. .14 and above will be ok.. coz i was planning to build  .20 to .30 range

A .2 coil with a fully charged battery will pull about 21A, so you probably won't blow yourself up.
